WGCU Public Media App for Android
It links me to my home events and news
You get what it says WGCU
A perfect companion during the day.
Love this app. Thank you
Love it. Especially the on demand feature.
I don't get radio reception in my apartment building, so I use this app. I like to listen to the news as I get ready in the morning, so I stay informed.
I thought the app would sync more with the current show on WGCU, so I can finish hearing a story outside of my car. Still, it works well and I can hear everyone clearly, and it lets me know about important news.
This thing shuts off often, requiring you to push play again. Love the station, I'll find another app.
After today's update, playback stops frequently, requiring constant pushing of the play button to keep things going. Skips and repeats are a nightmare on The Diane Rehm Show, and occasionally in other on-demand offerings.
Takes huge amount of time to restart, etc....otherwise a nice player.
It is full of bugs. It cuts out. Stops intermittently.
Have had for a long time and use often.it used to be pretty buggy but these later versions are much improved! Thanks

So easy to use!
Love it!
I can listen to WGCU any where I may be... Been using it trouble-free for about a year now, keeps getting better with every new release.
Works better than the old version but uses too much data in the background. Can't figure out how to shut it off so I am removing it
I love this app for its ease of use, mobility, and consistency. I listen to NPR everyday, and this app allows me to access it when I want, where I want.
I'm outside all day & appreciate being able to keep up to date and informed.
Great informative programs
Iz good
Great!
Cluttered and clunky. Why not just broadcast though iHeartRadio

Works for me. 5/16 update: Been using this app for a few months now. It's the best I've found so far, BUT am frustrated also. It cuts out, goes dead abruptly. Don't know if it's the app or the station. Haven't found an alternative so....
The app will randomly stop with the error message of unexpected stop. When it is working out does offer great flexibility in what you listen to
Nice to have when I'm on the road and out a reach of the radio signal
Great Material, but problems with my Android
Ok until/unless I plug phone in to change. When I do, the app shuts down within 30 seconds. No exceptions.
More reliable than some other radio apps.
Love the app. When I can get 4G it's a real gift
Radio + app
Still unstable.
Love being able to listen to WGCU without turning on a radio. The Exponential music station is great. My only complaint is the app stays open on my notification bar even after I've actually closed it.
Easy to navigate within this app to find recent broadcasts and podcasts.
Great new and information
Even though I have a great signal wherever I am, if I can connect at all, the audio often cuts out for 2-30 seconds or crashes completely every couple minutes. Just wish wireless providers would unlock our FM chips.
Love this app. Now I don't have to worry about finding NPR stations on long roadtrips.
