WFSU Public Radio App for Android
Great app. Sometimes hard to turn off.
I LOVE THIS APP. When I miss the live broadcasts of my favorite shows, I can listen to them here! It's wonderful. Despite short lags of sound (perhaps the newest update will cure this).
Worked during hurricane Hermine when we had no power and radio was not broadcasting.
WFSU has the power of NPR as well as quality local reporting. With this app, I can listen to my favorite station wherever I am.
My time is split between Mi & Fl so when I'm in Mi it's a great way to keep up with my Fl family.
Our PBS daily. Always. App works great.
Great app for work!
App crashes alot Live in North FL and WFSU is the closest NPR station
Enjoy it with my coffee every morning. It does pause at times but that could be my wifi service. It allows me to listen to wfsu without radio static. A joy.
The app is buggy and shuts down some times, but it works ok.
Better on a new Samsung tablet than it was on my old Google Asus, but still not much above OK
Love the App, especially now that we live in Chicago. It's a daily reminder of home.
Need I say more?
Keeps me up on the news
Works most of the time, but it crashes fairly often. Liked the older version better.
I enjoy listening to some of the shows but the app freezes and has to be reopened a lot
Easy to navigate, so I can listen to my choice of programming.
Great way to keep up with what's going on in the world outside of Tallahassee.
Easy to use, informative and we'll laid out
Great for streaming local NPR station
Awesome!
Moved to Omaha, NE in June 2015. Oh how I miss WFSU! I miss the 2 separate stations and the amazing journalism! Now I listen via the app!
Listen every morning and love it!
Live streaming radio and programs I've missed and can listen to later
Great for streaming local NPR station
I'm out of town a lot, and other NPR stations really don't do the programming anywhere near as well as WFSU. This app makes it available everywhere and provides podcasts of previous content as well.
Great app for work!
Love it!
Great app!
WFSU is the Florida Panhandle's Public Radio portal for news, music, and intelligent discourse. The app is easy to use and usually friendly.
Awesome!
Fixed for Nexus 5 with Lollipop. It's back to five stars.
Stops/Crashes on my HTC One (7) whenever I click "Bookmarks". A big reason I got the app. Still sucking. Looking to support another public station.

This app is always crashing. I can barely listen for more than a few minutes without having to close and restart. It also causes my phone to freeze and gives me a crash notification even when i closed the app properly myself. My phone and connection work fine with all my other apps. I love wfsu but i hate this app. It would be more convenient and less frustrating to drive my car through a window into my living room to listen inside. Waste of memory, uninstalling.
The app runs very well with live streaming but I've had problems with the on demand content. The show always cuts out about ten to twenty minutes into it and if I want to get back to the spot I was listening to when it cut out I have to spam the fast forward button. If this issue was fixed I'd give it a five out of five.
...except for the rampant permissions needed by this app. I don't like all of the required permissions that it takes to stream a public radio station and serve prerecorded content. I'd like to assume, since this app was developed for WFSU, that due diligence was taken to ensure that the company that they hired isn't all up in my internetz.
Heard about the app during the recent pledge drive, so I d/l'd it on a lark. App worked fantastically, and I had my beloved WFSU all the way up to Chattanooga during a recent drive. Since then, I've used it several other times when I wasn't near a radio or laptop. Great work, guys!

I loves my WFSU-FM. It's my daily education while I work.
