CMU Public Broadcasting App:
The CMU Public Broadcasting App allows you to listen to WCMU, pause and rewind the live audio, and view the program schedule for all the WCMU streams at once! You can explore On Demand content, search for programs, bookmark a program for later, and wake up to WCMU with the alarm clock!
Live Streaming
• DVR-like controls (pause, rewind, and fast forward). You can pause the live stream to have a conversation and pick up right where you left off! Or rewind to catch a comment you just missed!
• Listen to live streams from WCMU even while traveling! Start the app and your favorite station starts playing – no clicks to start listening.

On Android, if paused, it goes into the notifications tray and cannot be dismissed unless the app is maximized and then closed using the close all apps function. Needs an exit button on the app and on the notifications indicator (or the ability to swipe the notification to turn the app off). Love the content!

The app drives me crazy, constantly jumping back and forth so that sometimes whole sentences are repeated, other times just a word or two. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. An email to their tech support got a "sorry we can't reproduce the problem". I keep trying it, hoping the app will work smoothly, but it keeps disappointing me. Guess I'll just have to listen to NPR One instead, but that doesn't help when I just want to great Morning Edition or All Things Considered.
