WBFO 88.7 for Android
Great station but the app is super buggy. It's always freezing up! Very annoying
Great radio program - terribly buggy app.
Good app.
A nice app, I'm able to listen to WBFO anywhere. I clean houses for a living as a single mom and I'm a member of WBFO. If you're not a member, why not? Can you really not afford $5 or $10 a month? Really?
Does what it is meant to do, stream wbfo and its sister stations and Link two articles by the staff excellently
WBFO radio (NPR)
Have not had any issue.
It's almost impossible to close this app. It burrows into the task list, and won't easily be dislodged. Why do app programmers do this? There is no "exit" button, and the thing eats battery.
Love it when it works. But lately it's been freezing every so often, and I have to pull it back up and restart it. Usually quickly, so I don't miss too much of the article I'm listening to.
Double tap to close hardly works properly. It starts up again. Nice when it works but a pain to close. How about a simple "exit" option??
The live stream keeps stopping and starting, sometimes as much as several times a minute. Irritating.
The app either freezes, or you can't close it. Very annoying. Previously I used this app often, however, now....not so much.
I have not had the issue that others seem to be having. I'm using a Galaxy S7 edge and it works very well.
Keeps crashing after about 5 minutes
Love it.....best local national and global news! .
Great app
....it crashes ALL the time.
....it crashes ALL the time.
Big improvement on the 1st iteration. Would give it 5 stars if it didn't drop the signal so often. Maybe there is too much interference at home, because it held up well on a trip across the Thruway.
When it's good - it's perfect. When the app is cranky, it freezes every ten minutes.
The app has certainly improved over the past year or so. (It crashes less often.) It is wonderful that WBFO/WNED provides the live stream as well as the PBS lineups. It is quite useful in our household.
I like the increased access to WBFO. Even in my house the radio reception is not always great, so I use the app often. Much improved from last version.
Great! Live streaming! WGR doesn't even steam out of the USA. That's OK. Don't want to listen kevin sylvester anyways. ;-)
Unfortunately I only use the app to lisiten to wait wait don't tell me & cartalk on the weekend
Aside from freezing once in a while, it is a good app.

Love radio station especially On Point. App is great!
Does what it is supposed to do
This app takes a long time to load and frequently hangs. Also the continuous sponsor ads each time yuppy load the app (even on the same day) are annoying. Is great to be able to hear WBFO from anywhere though
Still seems buggy. Will frequently not start up. The commercial will play when the app starts up, and then the news will not start. This happens frequently. I end up going to another radio station app.
Can be unresponsive. But mostly a well written and reliable app.
I live in a spotty radio area. Still get my NPR!
great app no glitches its a good one.
Wbfo
This app works fine!
Constantly crashes. Often doesn't play at all. Overall, one of the mor3 frustrating apps on my phone.
Crashes sometimes to the point i have to kill the process.
I too like to listen to one of the WNED/WBFO family of stations - great stuff! But no longer on my Android phone. Please, please, please, please, please, please, please, please fix the app!!!!!!! 1 star for the app, 5 stars for the stations! Sid S.
