It times out constantly, you have to turn it off then turn it back on. In short it is alto of work to try to enjoy it

Times out constantly. I've basically stopped using the app and started using the "listen live" link on the website. I still try the app periodically in hopes that it has been fixed.

Stops playing when I get a text or most other notifications. I think I will just go to website instead of use the app.

Love this app. So reliable and easy to use. The content and variety of information is enlightening and invaluable. With all of the noise in the world today, this app provides balanced serenity and provides clear delivery. Thank you for this service.

Very frustrating app as it frequently stops working for no apparent reason.

Love the content, but the live streaming could use some work. Would like to be able to search for all archived shows. In general, I love NPR and am happy to have this option.

Crashes instantly. Can no longer stream either with this app or from the home page. PLEASE FIX THIS!

I love the radio/content but hate the app: it stops playing the audio content for no reason. One needs to restart the app to make it play the audio stream again - by that time, you miss interesting content and can't go back...

Ever since the new format that came out around January 2017, the audio streaming part of the app stops after a few minutes. You have to close out the app and restart it to get the audio working again. And now that the "Listen Live" button is no longer on the home screen, it takes longer to start/restart the audio. Audio streaming is really the only feature I use on this app, which means I've stopped using it.

This app would be great if it didn't crash every 5 minutes. This has been an ongoing issue for weeks now. Please fix it!

Love listening when it's working. But it keeps shutting off frequently. Very frustrating.

Constantly stops, must be completely shut down and restarted. Then you wait for the intro commercial to play. This happens about every 6-7 minutes. So annoying. Google Pixel phone with Android 7.1.1.

Love WABE but this app cuts out continuously. New Android phone, good WiFi. Fix the app!

Nice when it works but so often it cuts out for no reason, so frustrating and makes me switch to other stations.

Love the ability to listen to the "radio" when no radio is present. Also thoroughly enjoy the on-demand feature.

This app worked for the times I tuned-in, usually for "Morning Edition" and "Marketplace." Very user friendly.

Great format from start to finish!

And works very well. Gets confused on startup ad and when switching between networks on campus. Otherwise gets job done!

This App stops playing the stream every the device changes networks to play a promo. It also just stops for no reason. However, I gave it a 2 because the content is excellent.

Streaming quality is overall not bad. but the "play button" icon is stuck on my upper toolbar whether I am running the app or not. Seems to be an Android interface glitch.

Had same issue update said no network connection. Had to uninstall and reinstall the app for it to work. Great content glad can listen now at work.

I love the blues music, great news, shows, the stories, just everything that is simply more interesting than the other sources have to offer. Was OK even tho it stopped frequently. Since last update says there's no data connection even tho there is. Nothing will now get it to work.

I love WABE but the app often won't close for me so I have to do a force stop

I cannot play news program with this update!

I have a Galaxy S5, and it works fine for me. When I exit the app, it shuts down. I actually would like it better if it provided a separate shutdown option so I could exit the screen and reduce some of the drain on the battery.
