NET Radio Nebraska App for Android
Listen to it most every day
Totally enjoy the programs.
NPR
I love the convenience of listening on my phone wherever I am in my house! However, there is no way to exit out of the app when I am ready to turn it off (most apps have an "X" on the notification bar to close the app). Also, the app crashes often. With some tweaks I'm sure it could run smoothly!
I only installed this app because the NET live stream on the NPR News app is not functioning. When I click on the live stream button for this app, I get the prerecorded message to donate to NET, and then nothing. The app seems to be using GPS positioning excessively, especially considering that the live stream doesn't work. The live stream for KIOS in Omaha is working fine on the NPR news app, so I'm guessing this is a local issue. Please fix!
Classical is my favorite and I wish you played it a little more often thank you
Like, good quick view of news,
Drops the feed fairly often.
I enjoy the app but it crashes quite often probably due to the bandwidth it demands. I also HATE the constant call for donations. If you're already a member you should be able to turn that feature off. Having that clip come on every time the app crashes makes me far less likely to continue contributing. I do use the app daily in the hopes that it will behave because I enjoy the radio station so much. I hoe you guys can get the bugs worked out.
Tried 5 or 6, this NPR app is the best. Last version was simple and worked. This one crashes often. Ive been patient net but please throw this version out and returnto the previous interface and we will all be happy. Was a 5 now a 2 rattling
While the news feature on this app is nice, it is quite annoying that you must "force stop" the app to close it.
I wish there was a way to make a whole string of stories play instead of having to select each one. That's the only downside so far. Stories are great and easy to use.
I'm lucky if I can listen to the day's whole morning edition on demand without the app closing once or twice.
The app stops when I switch to another app, like my email,. I cannot multitask on my device while listening tn NET.
On Samsung Galaxy 6, this app crashes multiple times an hour. It's crashed 6 times just this morning. Tried recommended uninstall, update app, and nothing helps. Would use the NPR app, but KUCV doesn't load. I'm considering getting an AM/FM radio just so I don't have to deal with this terrible app.
I'm in a spotty signal area and love having the app available 24/7

NET app is great. Easy to hear anything I've missed.
NPR, Staying Informed!
Npr on my phone.
Luv it!

Excellent
Nice radio station
I LOVE the app and can't believe I didn't get it sooner. Being able to listen to archived shows on-demand is so great. That said, the app is pretty unstable for me and it crashes routinely. Seems to happen more with podcasts than other stuff, but I can't yet tell for sure. One other complaint: unless I'm missing it, there's no way to stop a program and pick up where I left off. So, if I get interrupted halfway through say....This American Life....I have to remember at what minute mark I stopped listening and then fast forward (which only jumps forward like ten seconds per tap) to where I stopped. So, it's a great app that comes with (as many apps do) a bit of frustration. But it's still very worth having, no question. Just a bit of improvement and this one easily gets 5 stars! edit: I should be more precise. Sometimes it fully crashes, other times (at least as often) it pauses itself somehow and when I hit play, it starts over from the beginning. Also, it's unpredictable. Occasionally I'll get through an entire program (or nearly so) other times it will crash/pause so many times that I just have to give up on that particular content.
I should have downloaded this sooner! Love the love feed for when i'm not near a radio, but has many other features, too.
I just downloaded, but it opened fine and the live feed stated up right away. Good quality over wi-fi. Sanding Galaxy.
Now I will never miss my favorite shows. Has all the features I need. Worked perfectly right out of the "box".
Sweet

Why did I wait so long? I should have downloaded this sooner! Love the love feed for when i'm not near a radio, but has many other features, too.
Pretty slick! I just downloaded, but it opened fine and the live feed stated up right away. Good quality over wi-fi. Sanding Galaxy.

This NET app 1.0 was rated 5, nextgen was a terrible crash prone 2. Version 3 still problems but rated near 4 stars. Current version, still a bit buggy and haven't liked this layout since the first version. They did fix the silly begging for donations on startup. Keep working on it NET maybe take another look at your 2012-2013 version that was crash proof and 5 star. Just 3 stars for this version. You keep going backwards. One item you could add for alumni who are away from home... a little line on cornhusker sports results or links to feeds.
