KUNC Public Radio App for Android
Cluddgy, hard to use, pauses does not like to be turned off
Would like larger controls that load sooner. Loading all the content first is not how I use it. I'd prefer a nice big play button.
A little gltchy, sometimes starts playing when I'm on a call. But it is a very useful app.
Works. What more could you ask for.
Sometimes crashes
Like getting both streams, music and news. Love the on demand. Thought the old app was fine. Concerned the new app is eating more battery. Don't need the notifications. Possibly the best public station all around. Of course KEXP had the music thing going on also.
For years I've struggled with poor radio signals and been frustrated by static lustening inside my home. No more, this is a great app.
Old version was great! Now I hate it. I dont want or need a news feed! No search function for podcasts! Worthless.
For listening, is superior to any other public radio app (have tried 4 others) in that there are very few pauses & hangs. I agree the news feed is wasting my data allowance and is unnecessary.
The updated app isn't as user friendly as it was. Also, a lot of stations don't play anymore. I give this app a "D".
Way better than the NPR App that was terrible at loading local stations. This one works every time. Thank goodness for the KUNC App!!!
Live stream an on-demand stop playing
I preferred the old app for usability in streaming on demand programs. Overall still a great resource.
Not very many bugs, very reliable.
A refelection of a top notch station.
Especially love the On-demand feature
Nice to listen to npr
Works well
Love and GRATITUDE
The app is good. Nothing sticks out as bad and nothing sticks out as amazing. The content and convince of having KUNC with me anywhere in the world is awesome though so they get 5 stars :)
Kunc cannot recognize my network connection and fails to open on Android device.
Upgraded to Android 5 (Lollipop) yesterday and the KUNC app stopped working. Assuming this is related to the new ART runtime. Used to use this app all the time, but now have to turn to TuneIn to get the stream on my phone. Very disappointing being that Google released Android 5 back in June for developers to get their apps up to speed.
I would pay for this app if it was more stable. Frequent crashes/force closes. On demand streams often are missing the last 4 - 8 mins. The live stream often cuts out due to "no network coverage" even when using Wi-Fi. Disappointing.
I would expect to find this radio station (Northern Colorado's broadcast of CPR: Colorado Public Radio) available through the NPR app, rather than having it's own special app.
I like this app because it starts playing the radio right away, but it crashes all the time. If they could improve the stability that would be great.
Great
very poorly behaved app. keeps ceasing to work, then must be forced closed before it can be restarted /reset.
A pretty solid app, does what it should, and does it well. I'm a local listener, but It's nice to have the higher quality stream over FM.
Tried many times
The concept is good, but the execution needs work. Does not show up on menu pull down. And crashes at will.
I love being able to stream live or hear old episodes whenever I want.

Pauses frequently. I changed some settings per support, but still pauses.
