AlsaMixer (ROOT) for Android
Installs ALSA required for CallRecorder.
I increased my headphone volume and works... temporarily. And after a few 5 or 6 seconds or so it cuts back to normal volume.. using Samsung Galaxy A3 5.0.2.. does it rlly work for A3? Am I the only one? Do I happen to have bad luck? Or do I just have a sh***y phone
Really nice - if you get it to work because there is literally NO documentation whatsoever. I've fiddled with it using the good old "trials and error" method and it works so that's not the problem. The problem is that I have no idea what I'm actually doing :P
I've been looking for an app that can increase the pre set max volume leves of my android device, and I've finally found it! There is somethig that I find annoying about this app though, and that is having to re apply the volume levels all over again every so often. Hopefully that will be sorted in soon coming updates. But over all, love the app!
Please, whomever hasn't a clue about 'configuration' get a grasp of Debian or equivalent and stop with the 1 star BS! Im sure i can manually SET Each variable to stay but thats the only reason why the famed 5 star rating all true coders dream of isn't in this rate. The information some of us novice users worked hard to figure out. Some indigenous documentation would be most helpful. Doc would have given a 5 star rating without 'saving' the novice users 'work'. Please, if paying, 5 bucks or less.
I'm getting ALSA install failure errors when I try to use ALSAMixer on my Nexus 6 with the newest Marshmallow. Please fix. Works fine on my Nexus 7 (2013) with the same version of Android.
I was sick of low headphone volume of my LG phone...tried many apps but all fake...simply change RX1 & RX2 values and you are done.
Default load error: operation not permitted. Running Cyanogenmod 11, fully rooted with custom recovery. I never have problems with root.
Such a great app, makes my music so much louder. Only downside is that when I stop listening to music and come back, the values will have been reset. Other than that it is perfect.
I wanted do decrease the headphone volume (my hearing is too god), in order to do that I decreased HPHL and HPHR values to half and it worked. I would like to known if I did it the right way, can you help me developer?
Until you reboot your phone. If you don't mind inputting your settings after each time you reboot/power on your phone, then this is a great app that works very well. (Tmo note 2 cm10.2)
alsa_amixer sset 'amixer: Mixer default load error: Operation not permitted' '' Anyone any ideas ?
I installed to increase volume edited 1 setting and now I hear nothing in call. Tried undoing it uninstall it nothing
For a Galaxy S6 Edge, try changing the HPOUT1 Digital one for your headphones port. Be careful, this can make it very loud!
I love this app i have it on myy galaxy s4 an love it an want to make it work on my tab I open it an it crashes instantly please helpp

The values we set don't stick you have you have to go in to change them again . fix it and make it a premium version and I'll buy it . ( so will a lot of others )
Not supporting for my kitkat saying that file not found.what do I do
Can't get it to start.
It works great but it's reset every time the phone reboots :(
It's probably device specific but it isn't working on my OnePlus One. 4 stars because it did work on my wife's phone. :)
Awesome! !
After increasing the "headphone" value to 63, my earphones have become significantly louder without any loss of quality. It is such a shame I haven't found this earlier.
In my quest for upgrading the ridiculous headphone sound level for Huawei G730, I've downloaded this. Now, I need some explanation about what to do with it without messing with something important in the process. Since this is the only root option I've found for an app of it's class, it certainly is more advanced and should go deeper into the problem... But haven't tested yet
Finally an app that actually works, only thing is the values I set won't stick! If I close and open any of my music apps the values re set! takes seconds to turn back on mind you but it's a little annoying! 5 stars when settings stick x
Want to increase speaker and headphone volume. I've downloaded this app and its plugin too, but not getting which plugin should use to increase the volume ...! Kindly reply with the help Samsung Galaxy Note 2 N7100 CrDroid rom Lollipop 5.0.2 With original samsung headphone

Thank you for the app guys...let me know if there's any way to set these edited values as default values. I have to set it every time I play music...even at play pause.. Thanks in advance guys
Bought Nextbook Ares 8 Intel based tablet. It's rooted but when I go to load the app it says can't install. Maybe it's something else I'm not doing right? I'll try again later.
The speakers on my Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 were woefully quiet. This is the only app or mod I have found that fixed it. By default the speakers were at 60 percent of their max or so. This let me raise the output and now I can hear everything great!
amazing app but one thing is bad... dosent save the settings thx developers
Awesome....this is really working...increased ma volume without any distortion
Won't keep changes I make
'RX3 Digital' is the internal speaker for the Nexus 4 and Nexus 7. Don't crank it too high. 100 was quite high. Changed to 90
Invalid executable when installing ALSA. amixer is in Arm format.
Says "control default open error:no such file or directory". Need help
how can i set the volume for bluetooth .thank you
Does what its supposed to do but doesnt keep the settings and sometimes it takes a long time when you open the app.
It would be absolutely wonderful if there was support for my LG Volt. I have used this on my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and it was great. Please add support to the LG Volt.
...Would be great if It could be configured to apply different settings if sound is outputted though a headset or headphones or different bluetooth devices. This would definitely be worth all the monies ^_^

Hey, I looked at this app's website and there appears to be no form of contact, and it isn't on the github account that was linked to, either. I realize that these Play reviews aren't really meant for feedback but I don't know what else to do. I've been using this to great effect on various ARM devices for years.
