The DogLost app is the fab new way of finding your lost or stolen dog. It allows you to share information on your missing pet with other DogLost app users nearby and via social media.
It links you to the 90,000 - and rising - users on the DogLost website which has assisted over 80,000 lost and found dogs in the past 12 years. It has now helped reunite more than 50,000 of them.
The DogLost app is a social network which works in conjunction with the DogLost website and its volunteers, which engages with people in their area to help in the speedy return of a dog that has been lost, stolen or found.
The app makes it easier to find a lost dog: His or her profile will be sent to other app users within a 20 mile radius of your location and can resend as many times as you like in the same or new location and share on Facebook and Twitter.
Information on your dog can be stored in your account, so if he goes missing you can share this news instantly - reducing the time it takes to get out information about your lost or stolen dog and increasing the likelihood of being reunited.

I am happy this app has arrived at last but concerned as cant seem to add my dogs to it in case they get lost. They are on the main website but information does not seem to have transferred across. I read you have to set up as a new user because it is a new app and I have done that but cant see how to add my dogs onto the app. Clicked on create profile but nothing happens. This is obviously very important to save time in an emergency.......I do have the Pet log app as well which is great but really want this to work as well!

Great to see an app for this but first experience I hit a lot of bugs. Got screenshots just let me know if you want them. tim@timwise.co.uk Would like to rate higher but doesn't seem usable yet. Don't be disheartened, it's all fixable. Is the source on github? Oh and shame there's an advert block; distasteful.

Sadly this app doesn't work for me. When I try to sign in it says my email address is not registered yet I have a profile on the website. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Doesn't accept my login details. Tried several times and confirmed they were correct by logging in to website. Something is wrong and it isn't me!

Whilst it shows markers of locations of where a dog has been lost (I guess), tapping on that marker does nothing. Shame this does not work properly.

It doesn't show any information. I e-mailed my concerns a week ago & no response, so now I've rated it. No user instructions, no lost dogs, no found dogs - NO INFO at all. I assume Richard Osman designed APP as it's Pointless.

After some initial problems I reinstalled app and rebooted my phone all seems to be working good now brilliant idea much easier than having to go to website I hope that alerts for lost dogs will come via the app as well as via e mail
