Share My GPS Location

Works as advertised with built-in text and email for sending coordinates. I wanted something simple for emergencies and this fits the bill.

Have used extensively. Very versatile, works well. But recently, if wifi is not on, it says "no internet connection, can be sent later, yes/no" when sending coordinates by email. However if you tap Yes, it works anyway and mail gets sent! If wifi is on, no such message... So just a reworking of the message code is required. Giving 5 stars anyway!

One problem: The location can not be viewed on Google map on Android. Solution: Before sending, replace the comma before longitude with + or - depending whether we are East or West from London. Alternatively the receiver can copy and paste the longitude in the map search field.

Gives false readings. I was using it for reporting and now when I check it again with maps it turned up some of the positions were wrong or fixed on previous spot. Very dangerous

This software gets 1st GPS lock in 2 secs.. unachievable feat for many. The accuracy and sensitivity achieved in normal circumstances is of very high order, tested in wide range of situations with no WiFi or cellular coverage. GPS values are not lost in thin air during short GPS disconnections. How many softwares do this? I wish this software could converse with Google Maps and phones GPS module, so that we can get My location fixed in Google Maps. Please keep on doing your best.

I can see that this app already can give best results as a standalone app. However I want to use it in Google Maps (my location). Even though this app can fix the coordinates instantly, GPS module still hunts for the location. Stunningly, gps finds same coordinates after 5min. Why this app does not converse with Google Maps and phones gps module? Why function independently? Please resolve the gap. I tested so many apps. This is the only one which locks coordinates under 5secs for me. Please integrate !!!!!!

It seems to work for me tried yourself I encourage you it may not work for you but that's your business between you and you alone

You just HAD to turn this into a bloody ad-delivery app, didn't you? It's an otherwise good app, but the advertising ruined it. I'm off to find one without monetization. Grrrr!
