Nail Biting for Android
This is the first time I've ever been able to stop biting my nails in my life and I'm 21. I recommend this app to anyone who has a habit as bad as I did. I started to see the amount of days I went without biting my nails increase and it made me want to resist even longer. My nails are now healthy and strong.
I've bitten my nails since I was old enough to remember. I've tried all sorts of things including hypnotherapy and horrible tasting nail coatings. Nothing has ever worked. This, however, seems to work a treat for me. From the minute I activated it, i haven't bitten my nails once. I simply cannot do it now I have the counter. It's some sort of crazy psychological switch but it's worked completely. 1 month later and my nails are strong and healthy and I'm cutting the skin around my nails instead of biting it
I basically stopped after an hr or 2 because i kept beating my time so i didnt chew my nails after an hr and 25 mins

Simple app but works well.
I use this to stop hair pulling (trich). Since there's no app like it specifically for us. Works just fine. And I didn't have to pay $2.50-$5 to use it, like the other trich apps that don't even get the point or have this useful tool included.
Extremely simple data collection tool, easy to use, very helpful. I would recommend making another app similar to this for trichotillomania (hair pulling) and dermatillomania (skin picking). Could help out a lot more people.
I downloaded this app because I virtually had no nails left to pick/bite. Having to unlock my phone open the app and press a button got really annoying which is what really helped to stop. I would recommend keeping the app after you think you have stopped. I reverted back due to stress after several months. If you continue to keep it and use it, I see being able to stop biting like I have now. Great app.
I have had this app for about 3 weeks now, and my nails are growing out very nicely!! This works and I am a terrible nail biter!! Hopefully no more!
After a week of using the app I've started to notice the moment right before I bite a nail. After a month - I'm still feeling a lot of irritation in nails BUT I Don't Bite them! It is still an effort not to bite, but it seems to me like the right way to fix the problem eventually.
It makes you aware before you bite. I stopped after a week or two.

This app is great - so simple, and gives you just enough historical data to see the impact the habit has on your life. I used this app in conjunction with a longer-term habit tracker, and weaned myself off this one once I was able to go more than a day or two without biting my nails. I would love if this app had an associated widget so that you don't need to remember to open the app to press the "I DID IT" button.

This is the only thing that made me aware enough of this terrible habit that I managed to stop biting my nails. It won't do miracles unless you truly want to stop. Recommended!
