- App has a tendency to freeze (particularly using the 'Alerts' and 'Home' buttons on the bottom of the app screen), and for push notifications to switch themselves off for extended periods meaning things like newsletters don't get read (current record three months before fixing itself by manually clicking around in the app, which for some reason started notifications working again). - Allowing Word docs to be used is not good in terms of device independence - PDF (which are used elsewhere, like for newsletters) is much better. - Information in the calendar doesn't reflect events that are listed in the newsletter (like pupil free days), and a feature to subscribe to the calendar and have it showing in the smartphone's calendar (via an iCal feed or similar) would make this far more useful. I'd *love* to see more effort put in to this app, I think it has great potential but right now its almost more of a liability if I can't rely on push notifications working reliably at the very least.
