About LockFeed: Lock Screen News

Spend less time checking the news, and more time making it.

LockFeed transforms your lock screen into a personalized news magazine. It converts news stories from websites, blogs, and publications into lock screen wallpapers that you can browse, read, and share without unlocking your phone. From tracking developing headlines, to keeping up with celebrity gossip, or even watching highlights of your favorite team during the game, LockFeed brings you the stories you want to a place you can’t miss them—your lock screen.

Your LockFeed can be as unique as you are. Not only can you choose from thousands of topics, you can also follow your favorite websites, blogs and publications including:

BBC, New York Times, CNN, Fox News, NBC News, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The Financial Times, Bloomberg, CNBC, Politico, The Huffington Post, USA Today, Sports Illustrated, BleacherReport, DeadSpin, SBNation, Polygon, BuzzFeed, UpWorthy, People, Cosmopolitan, US Weekly, MTV News, Self, Lucky, TMZ, Vice, GQ, Esquire, Vogue, YouTube...pretty much anything on the Internet.

To add a topic or website/publication:
1. Tap the menu button on your lock screen (top left corner)
2. Tap "Manage Topics" at the bottom of the list
3. Tap the Search icon (top right corner)
4. Enter the topic or phrase or website of your choice. You can add almost anything!

Pro Tip: To add a website (like CNN for example), type "site: CNN.com"
The "site:" prefix tells LockFeed to deliver you CNN content instead of content mentioning CNN

If you make a mistake and misspell something, just deselect it and add it again.

News loads well, no lag whatsoever! It's just the pictures, they look like a screenshot of Minecraft

S70%
by S####:

The Huffington Post dominates the news, which is not good for people like we who don't want to hear ONLY the liberal agenda.

J70%
by J####:

Very limited choice of subjects, years light behind Flipboard.Localization does not provide news relevant to selected country. Will uninstall it.Good idea, pour execution.

Maybe it's not the fault of this app. but really needs to consider the situation on big high resolution screens.

You can pick areas of interest from a very anorexic selection, ultimately bringing you a tabloid-like collection of useless, supposedly newsworthy stories that are more annoying than informative. Compared to the far superior Swipe: Lockscreen News, where one can input actual URL's from sites you would or do follow on the regular, this app is a mostly bland slice of fail cake with nothing to wash it down. You would do best to pass on this app as it's so much bad comedy.

Y70%
by Y####:

Not only can I pick and choose what type of content I want to show up, I can also share and organize my articles with other apps !

Everything about Skiptu works as expected. It is intuitive and it learns and gets better with use. It's a great way to get content I care about and updates on the go - and it's always on top of the phone!

Y70%
by Y####:

Keeps me informed, easy to use and doesn't kill my battery. Can't beat simplicity. Looking forward to future updates.

B70%
by B####:

I can see what's new by turning my phone on. I get all the news all the time from my lock screen.

Y70%
by Y####:

Turn screen on. Lock screen with news doesn't appear. Wait more than minute nothing. Not able to customize news resources.

Make it a bit faster.
