The app has 3 widget icons that dial the USSD codes to check you text, call and goodybag balances.
It also adds the Data / MMS (APN) settings for the giffgaff network so you can surf the net and send MMS. And Allows you to easily delete other APN settings that may conflict with giffgaff.
Once GiffGaff exposes API's for balance checks we'll update the app to have a widget displaying the balances.
This is a beta build so it may contain a few bugs.
NOTE: It requires permission to make calls as it needs to dial the USSD codes. You are not charged by giffgaff for these, and the app does not make any other calls other than balance checks via the USSD codes.

Widgets are nice and simple and work though perhaps they could be made more distinguishable. Altering APN settings did not work (deleting - not sure if it added correctly) on my HTC One X.

Had a problem getting my mobile internet to work after coming over from another network, tried all advice on giffgaff but no luck. This app sorted it 1st time with the APN code feature. Bonus of useful widgets.

These are great little widgets. Had to uninstall them though, they look really tiny next to all of my big widgets. Could you make 'em a little bigger?

Always worked every time I needed it, but I've just given my friend a giffgaff sim card, and it's not even openinh on her or my phone
