Skillshare Online Classes

Didn't even refund the whole amount after all I didn't use any of the service. Any email or notification is much appreciated prior to charging credit card, or it's just a greedy scamming practise.!

I subscribed and i cant seems to be able to.download any videos. There r some problem for me to sync my account.

Skillshare ok but the app leaves a lot to be desired, tells me I'm offline when clearly I'm not.

So much info! I wish I could file my classes though. Like this file is animation class! This file is hand lettering! This is for photography! And so on. But its made such a difference! Love you guys

I am losing the will to live with this app nothing downloaded. Seriously bad uninstalling.

Why can't I adjust the playback speed? Better review if you can fix that...

Good luck getting the free trial to work- I'd like try the app but after multiple attempts and it telling me I'm not eligible to use the coupon code that was emailed to me.... Byyyyyyyyyye.

It is better to access it via browser, because the app ia really bad. It wont lent me sign in via fb and link my accounts.

All the videos are all premium and I got a 2 month trial by Tonyvtoons but I can't watch the steps of how to be an animator cause it freakin needs mobey this sucks

Skillshare in and of itself seems pretty great so far. The app, however, is pretty bad. Can't listen if I close my phone even if I download the classes, so pointless battery drain; as well as it not saving your position so if I even go to another app to send a text message or some such thing, it goes back to the beginning and I have to find my place again. These problems ought to be fixed.

Great app...if only it had DISABLED downloading classes for only use when I'm NOT in WiFi range. Seriously, It's 2017, this setting should be turned on by default. App consumed a little over 2 GB without my knowledge. Uninstalling promptly.

The service is great, but the app needs work. It's usable, just feels too bare-boned. I think the team could take a look at other popular video streaming apps like Twitch, YouTube and Netflix as comparison. Sometimes having an original layout is not the best option if the GUI becomes less intuitive.

4. It is a 4 for the love towards Skillshare as a whole and no the app itself. The app is decent, but for me, it lacks the usabillity that the website offers. The drawback is the player and the absence of playback speed. I prefer going through my courses with 1.5x or 2.0x speed. this is the only feature I msotly care about in a course oriented app.

Skillshare is great, but... There is abig problem with the Android app right now. I have premium but after the last update all classes are locked and my saved classes are all gone. If i login on my pc everything is fine. And i cant find any support on the damn app to inform the devs ????

I have reached out to customer service. With no success. My free trial was supposed to be for 2 months. It is only showing for 1. Took me hours to even get the app to show me premium classes, even after waiting 24 hours for it to sync. Customer service was unhelpful. App is buggy. Shame. I would have loved this if customer service would have been better.

It's lovely how much information there is on the one app. There are so many issues with the app though. My first payment was through iTunes and it just didn't activate even though I was charged. Even though it kept saying I had an active subscription whenever I tried to subscribe, all the classes were locked except trailers. When I contacted customer care; they said to go to iTunes, and iTunes never said anything. Also the lack of playback control is a major draw back

Update: Thanks for fixing some of the issues. The offline classes are still being a major problem. 1. if I log out it deletes all of my offline classes, 2. It still won't let me access my offline classes and take me about 4 attempts to get and see if there are any there still.

I love skillshare but this app is unusuable. It insists I'm offline 100% of the time, although I have a strong WiFi signal. Can't even watch classes I've previously downloaded because for some unknown reason I still need to be online to view them. Complete waste of time. Would give zero stars if I could.

Skillshare is a very good place which is severely held down because of this app and also the website. Both the website and app does not have an option to choose streaming quality. The app does not have an option to increase the speed of the video. Many times I want to revise what I have learned so I need a higher speed but the option is not there. Another big problem is the crappy video player which keeps on streaming the video even when the entire video is cached. Unless you are on a very good internet connection you are doomed. Since udemy and YouTube videos work fine on my pc and phone so internet is not the problem. I was very excited because of the quality of the courses offered here on skillshare and the buisiness model of subscription but so far my experience is not good. Video player needs to be changed to something like udemy.

As many people were writing here, I love the service but the app keeps buffering while not showing any actual videos... My internet seems fine. Pretty useless when I can't see the content. Hope you'll fix it :)

It's cool, but it keeps saying that I'm offline. Please check your connection. I can't view anything. I've been to multiple wi-fi networks and I can't seem to use the app. I'm very upset. I figured if I waited for a week for an update it would fix my problem. However, I still appear in offline with no way to access any features.

Great subject content so far. I have been on my trial for a few days now, and I'm thinking about becoming an instructor myself. The app is lacking pretty basic features for a paid service though. I should be able to upload, download, and visit hyperlinks from within the app. I will gladly 5 star when those features are added.

The platform is amazing, but the Android app is pretty trash. The bugs that happen when buffering videos on lesson pages are script kiddy issues, c'mon guys.

Good app for learning but I have problem with download video for offline. I'm already subscribe but i cant download for watch offline. It's said it have a problem with sync account or something. And i cant find any customer support on the app. Pls fix this.

The courses is great but the app need some work. It need to have video speed adjustment so we can see the video in smaller time amount and also need to be able to play the sound only or play while the screen is off.

Good selection of videos. Can download videos, which is pretty nice. A little bit pricey, thought I like that it gives you the option to pay per month.

So I got the two month free trial from using someone's referral code and I haven't fully gone through them just yet but I can say I've been able to open a new door into a new interest of mine and I have learned quite a bit from it so far. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to explore a new interest for sure. There's loads of information from all different people about quite a lot of topics. (This was based off of the website not the app performance which has been a hit or miss for me)

No wonder its a very skillfull app but im unable to open the videos inspite of getting registered. there is no customer service too

The idea of this app is wonderful, the variety of classes to choose from is extensive, but if I have to keep the app open and my phone on it really isn't convenient, especially when you're charging money.

Ive never intended to write a review for anything but there seems to be a problem with the offline video. If it wasnt for the data limiter being on all of my data would have been used. I never had this problem before until today.

Unable to use through the mobile app. I can access through tablet or laptop, but the entire app glitches on my andriod mobile.

Forces you to pay for premium membership if you want to be able to watch the videos. Free membership is pretty useless. Everything is locked.

It's a good platform for online studying but I couldn't find everything I needed but it's still good..There should be an option to lower the quality a little bit so that my data packs don't run out. I like it

Wonderful app and program. There could be some improvement to the ease of use. For example, a more intuitive save program, speed increases, an in-app profile editor, and an easy to understand topic filter would be truly necessary additions for this to be a 5 star.
