A good attempt to improve the standard allplay app by qualcomm. Although there is not much additional functionality, at least it looks a whole lot better. I guess this is what qualcomm had in mind the vendors would pickup. Unfortunately nobody really invested in improving the app. Only panasonic does regular updates, but is not able transform the original modular setup of the app into a more integrated setup. If a least one could centrally access favourites across the different underlying techniques (music from sever / music from folder / allplay radio / spotify), it would help a lot. This is really a pitty, because the hardware and infrastructure behind it seem quite okay. Hardware is really cheap now. Lenco Playlink 6 for about 120 euro. Orginal price was > 300,-. So a bargain for the quality you get. But without a decent app to control it... I like to play music via a twonky server using the folder structure. Would be nice if I could add a certain folder to the favourites. Also looking for possibilty to link allplay playback with google assistant (using tasker and ifttt). So, thumbs up for this attempt. I hope people will like it and it's worthwile to extend.
