Block Microphone (Anti Spy)

Id like to know if it absolutely mutes the mic on my s5neo 7.0 nugut. I was turning off all permissions to the mic bit a special anti spy app i have is telling me there are built in apps on my phone trying to record. Great app guys and good job to the developers on a good quality app. But are u guys able to tell me if my model phone is muted since not all models of phones are able to be muted with your app. Please respond to this review and I will RE rate the app.

App does not work. Do not trust! Shazam listens every time I open it yet Block Mic claims that my mic is still blocked and I receive no warning stating that it is unblocked. Absolute total failure. I wonder what this app actually does? Uninstalling immediately

I am greatful for this free app, they could charge but dont. I only have a problem once in a while of it blocking my voice completely on calls. I have to hang up & call people back. Other than those few times i rest easier knowing my mic us blocked from hearing my daily life. Thank you for your app

This app does not actually block the Mic from other apps from using the Mic. I used call recorder app and it recorded my voice just fine, while I had the mic blocked. So while it may block the Mic initially, other apps can turn the Mic back on. Do not download, it installs a false sense of security.

My Mic is still recording for about a minute or so before it starts to mute with this. The other app WireTap Removal by you guys gives a warning and acts alot quicker at stopping any unauthorized Mic recordings and video recordings etc. Just seconds. Nice loud warning sound also to let you know it's done so and something was going on.

Well I've not really tested it . But it giving me periodic notifications that the Mic is being blocked.. either way it gives me piece of mind which is worth it for a free app. Nothing's free anymore

bring out a pro version so we can pay you rather than having ads and all the spyware risks assosiated with. a white list would be nice, otherwise almost! perfect!

I tried this with programs that link directly through the Mike, it does block. Google search is always listening. Enabling OK GOOGLE will have you under 24/7 sound monitoring including listening for music if it does not hear talking. It does block Voice Search.

This app excellent with the wiretap app. Bravo, finally a little peace of mind. Now, if you all can help stop the hacking of my car...you will be superheros!

Love you guys. Been using you for years. Sometimes the app works with my phones, sometimes it doesn't. It's just like the developer say it doesn't work with all phones. Thanks team...

I tried to record on my voice recorder and it only recorded silence! I haven't seen any bugs yet but great app

Awesome application. Secure against 3 letter agencies using your phone against you. App is smart enough to allow phone calls without any hassles. Thanks too the developer/developer's.

Would be great, but keeps closing automatically after a few hours. Same problem with other apps from this developer.

I love the app all it needs now is to keep a log that shows if it is spy on like all the other spy apps like it have and its don't work when you are on a phone call they still can tap in on your phone call

I'm not absolutely sure nothing has tried to spy possibly way back when first installed but have question about it's function if my phone has been cloned in order to read text and hear conversations will it detect cloning spy app

Just made a test. The app says the mic is blocked but when I'm calling someone they are able to hear my voice....i guess that's a bad joke

Works as advertised on my Droid! Paired with camera block to make spyware more difficult.can be a pain if you forget to unblock for voice to text ops etc.

Upgraded to nougat and it works like it used to. Now we just need a widget and then this app definitely 5 star

This app works very nicely for me on my Motorola Moto G, Model XT1028 cell phone running Android 5.1 (Lollipop). I followed the testing recommendation in the FAQ instructions by installing the (Sony) audio recorder and testing it both with the Mic blocked and unblocked. When blocked, only silence is heard. When unblocked, the recording is heard. I recommend reading the FAQ's carefully to set your settings as desired. I'm giving it 5 stars. I like to run it together with their Wiretap Removal app.

I have two phones S4 on lollipop and Samsung grand prime lollipop. I'm not sure if your app is doing what's intended. There r periodic checks on the mic but when I use OK Google I'm not actually unblocking the mic myself and my voice to text speech synthesis when I'm talking out a message still works simultaneously even tho the blocker is on. I appreciate your hard efforts in creating the app but please could there be an update to insure mic block is always on. But it's cool and very valued. Great job guys

It didn't function correctly on my phone. After my first review, the developer pointed out that the app info does state it may not work on all phones--yep, that's true. But I am very impressed with the developer's quick reply to my original review. It's always nice to know that somebody heard and replied to what was actually posted. Seems like a great app. Definitely great developer response.

I want an app that will mute sound recording when shooting video. This is not it. Was not obvious in the write up. Have since uninstalled the app. They did not follow up on their offer to solve problem. Too bad.

It's a great app. Big Bro hacks it like this.. On the 2 people they want to monitor my Mike is muted even when I turn this program off. I have to reboot my phone for them to hear me. I also have a blue boarder when program is being exploited.

This app is useful and I appreciate that the permissions requested aren't excessive. However, the microphone doesn't always come back on when a call comes in. The "mic unblocked" notification pops up, but the people on the other line can't hear anything and I have to hang up and manually enable the mic before calling them back. It only happens once in a while, but often enough to be annoying.

Solid !!! It actually works! I recommend it for sure. I don't know why I can't get the reports yet...just started using it. I would also recommend possibly letting the user set their own notification/warning tone...I thought I had an incoming call first 2 or 3 times. But...it works!

The periodical check notifications often remain on the screen regardless of the interval settings. Even disabling the app doesn't remove the pop up and it impedes some touch screen functions. Works wonderfully otherwise.

Does what it says , and my analysis app made no fuss about it !!! Tried other apps and am staying with this one , with gratitude...!!!! Annnd , "LOOKOUT"(R)* was uninstalled last year after it's trial run and it's flaws discovered by my analysis app...!!!! SHAME ON GOOGLE FOR RUNNING IT'S PLAY STORE LIKE A USED CAR LOT , ON COMMISSION .

I hate snoops Meta data is personal Our Gov. Are Snoops I was told its illegal and rude to eavesdrop Perhaps they weren't . phone taps should be with a warrant I tried tap on Google and OK Google Couldn't be heard thanks

Just need to remember that you have to disable this feature during phone calls! I know because I learned the hard way! But this is a truly excellent app for a sence of security when it comes to your privacy!

Ok Google still hears me as well as every other microphone using app on my phone. Just doesn't work.. nice idea though

I've had mixed results using this app on moto e xt1528 Android 5.1 Sometimes it will not block the mic when it should, other times it keeps it blocked even after toggling block on/off when recording video, running apps, and during phone calls. Used primarily when not expecting any phone calls as almost every app these days requests record mic permissions.

I installed a voice recorder app onto my phone. I blocked my mic supposedly with this phone app. I was able to record my voice with this mic block app installed and turned on, and was able to replay the whole conversation back. Uninstalling

Still records on android 6, what I am curious about is do your other apps have the same issue ~ time will tell.

Downloaded an audio app, when the record button was pushed it picked up everything I said, however, I had not deactivated the Block Microphone app yet. Not a good app at all.

Why does "OK Google" still work if my mic is actually being blocked??! Appears to be a fake program to me.

The app reports the mic is blocked yet speaking into Google apps works just fine. Does Google bypass the app or does the app not work?

I need to mute the microphone for video recording it doesn't work at all and absolute waste of time.
