My company has had this app for a couple of years now. Never once has it been updated. NEVER
Always crashes.
I don't know why so many negative reviews for this fantastic application. May be these reviewer are having some license or monetary issue with the company. To be very Honest, my all technicians are using this application for last 2 years, and this application has really helped me in delivering right job to customers at right time and helped my company to achieve customer satisfaction and profitability. Simple to use user interface and lots of features are really fantastic for day to day jobs.
Not working at all now all jobs lost wtf..Crashes a lot and unless you have good service very slow. Can't get jobs or put any info in unless you have service and a lot of basements don't have good service. Sometimes I spend more time putting info in than doing the job
Been using field locate for over a year in my service business and find it very helpful. Don't know how we got along without it.
Update 9/28: unable to even log into app, app crashes upon open.Update 9/26: no repair to issue, "work around" is to scroll thru entire price book to find 1 item you need. Refuses to let you out of contract even though software does not work. Sept 2016: Adds a line of travel to invoices when selecting other item to be added. IE- adding a part to an invoice populates a line of travel instead. On going issue since May 2016, Requested repair of software but still no update available per contact at Field Locate
I've been using the software for almost three years. Features continue to become glitchy or stop working all together. Many better options available. Stay away!
I've complained about the bugs, but no one has bothered fixing them. I have to redownload the app to make it work often
As of 5/9/2016: Not much has changed except now (for the past several months) if I try to edit a line item in an estimate it says "unexpected error has occurred" and kicks me out! The statement below still applies...... :( Way too many errors. Very slow on customers with multiple addresses. Seems like it's a beta version and they are still working out the kinks and bugs.
I guess it's good that they're constantly updating the app, but sometimes it's a pain deleting and reinstalling especially when you're in the field with a bad signal.

Was promised it can read xtml emails and post jobs . Huge lie . The map sucks . The invoices look low rent . Had it 6 months and was Told all would be fixed . Sales guy gone . Implementation people gone . We will no be renewing !!!!
I own an air conditioning company here in Austin and was told the system was great. We thought it was great system to have when it worked for all about a month. We were promised it would work with Quick books and directly invoice over. THIS IS LIE! It does not work! We have a contract for a year and we have had it work for only a month. This system crashes a lot too. The map location doesn't work correctly either. We send out emails through the system for bids and half the time it doesn't work. Do not invest in this company.
It would be good if it properly work
Several other ideas if implemented would definitely give this app a 4.

Freezes constantly, location is very inaccurate
We use it for our techs to get calls and to document issues
I lost pictures, I couldn't load pictures from the app itself how to take them with my phone and then transfer them to the app
We've had this software for over a year already, and it has slowly improved in a lot of areas. The best thing to do is have a great phone service. We've switched to Verizon, and that's the best thing that we could have ever done. Hopefully someone will think about the Inventory in our service vehicles, that's the only thing that's keeping me from given them a 5 star...

Never works right. Constantly force closes. Extremely slow.
Way to many bugs. Plus is shows wrong addresses for customers.
Part order screen sucks, can't put in vendor, purchase order or multiple parts.

Hate it but I have to use it for work
Software is half complete. They give a great sales pitch but the software is barley beta. Hours on jobs go missing, locations disappear from records, invoicing is a mess. Worst of all no answers from support on issues after MONTHS of weekly bug reports. Save your money! Do not buy!
All items fixed after a few months. The only complaint that I have now is that you can in no way get a cost per call as FI only brings in the cost I pay for a part not what we sell it for.
Great idea with 'decent' implementation. New update causes frequent force close. Horrible constant loading time, even on 4g lte (and I have multiple devices on different carriers).
Not work for anything
I was given a 30 day out in the original contract if I didn't want to go forward. I exercised this option and they are still billing my company. Every effort was made to communicate and they are still billing me. Buyer beware, do not sign anything because they will lie and steal from you. Looking forward to court to resolve this, if this is how you help business, no thanks.

Tech support hasn't fixed the simplest of issues I've been reporting for 3 or 4 years, but they are quick to shut you off while at a customers house if you stop paying and demand the system be fixed. Ever since FieldAware bought them this company and app have gone down hill bad.
