by Q####:

I really like this app as an exercise app, the workouts are intensive but doable (I'm reasonably fit and it's still hard work), the reps are often out but I don't mind as I track it with a heart rate monitor instead. I don't think much of the storyline which isn't engaging and I don't really care about the characters. I wish there was a way of just having the workouts without the story. Worth it just for the workouts.

Q70%
by Q####:

Great workouts! Love the body weight movements. Instructions are clear and the story line is interesting. Fun app to have when not ruining from zombies.

D70%
by D####:

And it's pretty useless if it doesn't count properly

Q70%
by Q####:

Son wanted to do it after seeing it on channel 5's Gadget Show, really bad at tracking reps, but worst bit, for no reason it has swearing in it, no good for kids or people with kids

Q70%
by Q####:

The only problem is the motion tracking is a little off.

Q70%
by Q####:

Great program. Up there with zombies run

Q70%

so, will you update it?

C70%
by C####:

Love the concept, but it's really bad at tracking reps. One of my goals is to improve the number of reps I can do so it's frustrating that this app doesn't let me manually correct it.

T70%
by T####:

Difficult to position the phone so that it sees me move, hard to hear the voice actors, way too fast for me to see what I am supposed to do and the exercises are too advanced for beginners.

Q70%
by Q####:

Love the concept of this app and use it daily. Some minor complaints/suggestions: The reps seem to double count at times, one for down and one for up and sometimes not counted at all. Those issues are likely due to the camera's limitations in low light, my distance from it and contrast from the background. One request though, could you make the missions a bit more flexible for length? 24 min is decent, but I feel like I'm just getting started. I'd love to add a 4th round to my workout and push past 30min.

Z70%
by Z####:

The concept is good, found the rep counting very frustrating though. I could be standing doing nothing and it will count reps. Means you keep trying to adjust it mid exercise. Will persevere with it though.

G70%
by G####:

The reps speed up fast than i am move now matter what position i put the camera in

B70%
by B####:

I loved the idea, and the workout is fun. Like everyone else I have a slight issue where tracking reps just didn't work. It was telling me I'd done 20 something pushups before I'd even started. If they either fix the motion tracking or allow me to disable it and manually tell it when I'm done with the reps, I'll update to a five star review. LG G5, Android 6.0.1 in case it helps.

H70%
by H####:

The concept and attempt are amazing; create an exercise game that actually watches you and scores accordingly. Unfortunately, there are several problems that hold it back. Some movements are scored half or double; this issue could have been hidden if just a progress bar were shown without numbers. There is no way to tell where to place the phone and if you are in frame or not; a calibration mode would be helpful. The story is just boring. This would have been more entertaining as a Zombies Run tie in.

X70%

Good idea, but didn't work at all, the rep count would go up even after covering the front camera. Seems odd that there isn't any kind of calibration or training rep process either.

L70%
by L####:

I've always wanted to "get fit" and "be in shape" but I have trouble finding gym & running partners -- and I'm too self-conscious to go to a gym myself, nor is it worth it spending money on home exercise equipment -- I'm just not in a place where that's feasible. Nor do I have the attention span or memory to learn full workouts online; that just never worked for me. This app makes exercise fun by entertaining my with a story and all my previous excuses to not work out are rendered void; I can work out at home, in the privacy of my own bedroom, with no money on equipment and no needing to memorize or read long workout plans, because it's all right there told to me step by step like if I had a personal trainer right there in my house. Yeah, the motion tracker and rep counter can be faulty; but that's not why I use the app, anyways. I've only been using it for a week and I'm having the time of my life with it. That's why I use it; it's a motivating exercise app that nullifies all my prior excuses to not exercise. So really, I don't care if my reps/calories aren't exact. Thanks for another great app, Six to Start.

The workout was great I felt tired, but the motion tracking on phones just was not meant for this, it constantly counts my reps wrong.

X70%
by X####:

The only problem I have is that the story includes swearing.

W70%
by W####:

Really great, occasionally counts a couple more or less reps than actually done, but whatever was tweaked recently (or maybe its just the new S7 i got) has made it work rather well most of the time! More missions please!

But the implementation is boring.

X70%
by X####:

So I love the workouts and story line. The only thing I don't like about it is that I can be absolutely motionless and it will count reps. I like to track my reps so that I can track my progress. Since this program does not accurately count reps it's hard to track accurate progress. I would like to second what someone else said, it would be great if we could manually adjust the reps if we want to. (Galaxy S7)

After this update I've had to start yet again. That's 5-6 times now! PLEASE LET US SAVE PROGRESS!! Last review - First if all, I live what Six to Start Create, I love Zombies Run, the other games look amazing, and I really like the concept of this one. BUT there's no way to save your progress, I've restarted the story four times already, and today I came back to find it had reset again :( Please bring a way to save the progress... Please...!!

First of all, thank you so much for fixing compatibility issues! It works great on my Nexus 5X! Also, thank you for letting me know when it was fixed. I got to use it right away! I'm loving it so far! The tracking is quite good. On some exercises it overcounts a little and on others it undercounts, but it's accurate enough. If you concern yourself with overall trends rather than exact amounts, it'll do just fine. I'm surprised at both how hard the workout is and how well the audio cues immerse you in the story, which in turn makes the workout easier (and less boring) to get through. Between this and Zombies Run 6TS has helped me keep myself motivated while exercising. Keep up the great work guys! Quick note: The story does contain some moderate profanity. Not enough to be too distracting IMO, but if that concerns you, be advised.

X70%

As stated by everyonr else, the rep count is way off. Sometimes it misses my work entirely. It can also be annoying to constantly move your phone to accommodate. That being said, its a fun thing to play with and a better exercise than none at all.

V70%
by V####:

Cool concept. However, very buggy. Counter is off. Constantly having to move phone so it can detect movement, but no time to actually make the change. No warning about equipment needed for exercises. Also, the exercises and the storyline seemed disjointed. Mostly a bunch of yelling about aliens and meteors with no idea how my actions were playing into the storyline. Pretty disappointed. Have to remember that it's early days though; hopefully the developers will fix it.

Please let us (others have mentioned it on review as well) when it will work on the Nexus 6? It was working on a ZTE blade S6 and I paid for the app, but since upgrading my phone to Nexus 6 I get no valid devices and cannot add the app. Is it as the Nexus is 5.1 and the ZTE was 5.0, if so when will you upgrade the app to work with the latest version of android; or is there a big issue stopping you. Please let us know on the review as you can now reply to users reviews. As per previous reviewer who mentions Nexus 6 issue I have given 3 stars as is good when you can use it!

I use Zombies, Run! and The Walk and was very excited about this app! I know it's pretty new and will be buggy at first, so I'll keep an open mind. I really like the concept and am planning on using it on my non-running days. Just finished the tutorial and tried to do the first mission, but it crashed 1/2 way through. Also, sometimes there will be no sound, or visual, but it will catch up and play all the audio at once, so you can't understand what they're saying. It's probably my Galaxy Tab 2 trying to keep up. Hopefully, when I get a new tablet, it won't happen. I'll probably be back later to increase my score from 3 stars once they start pushing fixes! Update: I've been using it lately and haven't had any issues. I think my Tablet wasn't able to handle it, I have a Nexus 9 now and it plays like a champ. I gave it 4 stars because I wish they would do the following: 1. Be able to go back view your mission summary for that day (it only seems to be available immediately after you've finished it) 2. Share on Facebook (Twitter only right now) That's all I can think of now, the exercises are very effective and they have been kicking my butt!

Really liked it. Good workout until it bugged out in the first mission. That was disappointing. I also couldn't reload it back to the same spot it bugged at, like through fast forward or through like an exercise chapter list. It sucks to have to go back and re-do parts of a story you just heard. Also counts were off, I don't mind that so much as long as it consistently counts it wrong. Overall I like the story, I got into it, and I got sweaty in less than 20 minutes. Seemed like a nice all over body workout too.

K70%
by K####:

Love the app. I can understand the counter being off if you are not in the right spot but I'm finding that the timer seems to either speed up or stall and I can't figure out why. I'd love a setting where you could disable the motion detector and just follow the exercises. I know it's early days and I truly appreciate the hard work that has gone into the development, thanks guys :)

The idea is great and the app looks great! But sadly the app crashes quite a lot for me. Often at start and at the end of a workout. I hope those can be fixed. Because before the app does not work without at crash at least 80% of the time, I won't be able to recommend it to friends. And I want to recommend it! Since you did a good job with it! Keep it going! Size is a little bit big. Specially since I am always having trouble with apps being too big on my phone. So if it could be a little smaller, that would be great. ;-) Chromecast support is not real chromecast support. I was looking for the chromecast button, which was nowhere to find, and had to go to the help to be told to use the "cast device" feature. Well still great to workout with instructions on the big screen and works well. But kind of misleading in the description, which made me think there will be a cast button in the app.

1. Have a recommended phone placement on each workout screen (where the virtual person is): Put a little blue phone icon in the best place per exercise, with a blue "range of sight" shining onto the virtual dummy to show where is best to place one's phone to get best rep counting results. 2. Show more clear "required equipment" icons or warnings before missions begin. (Walls & chairs, etc.) 3. Sound FX upon every rep-based exercise rep (like the punches) 4. More "holds" to allow better story listening! 4/5

Used it for the first time today after being a zombie runner for over a year and had a lot of fun. Reps were just a little off so only four stars.

The rep counting is off, it almost always doubles what I'm doing. I used it with a chromecast to do it in front of the TV. The narrative (at least in the first mission) does not seem very engaging (possibly because there's not much on the screen that I'm looking at, I'm hearing all these sound effects and looking at a fairly blank screen). It's basically a less working version of a kinect, which if it did work would be impressive. I can't recommend it at this time until an update is released.

K70%
by K####:

I would've rated 5 but the app keeps crashing. It wouldn't be a big deal if i could either fast forward through what I've already done or skip to the next story. Other than that, this game is awesome.

D70%
by D####:

Not a big deal but it should be modifyable. The most frustraighting part is that you can't turn off the audio. The story is both not that interesting and I can't hear it half the time either cause sound effects or because I'm concentrating on the actual workout. I wish there were 3 audio sliders, story, sound effects and timers. So then I can drop the sound effect volume and up the story volume so I can hear it, or drop both and listen to my own music while still having the benefit of the timers.
