We made some improvements for Sixt Fastlane. Speed up your check-out by showing the generated barcode at participating Sixt stations. Sign up for free and open your car at Zurich Airport without a key! For more information visit sixt-fastlane.com or contact Fastlane-ch@sixt.com.

The only useful functionally this app has over the website is the ability to choose your car 30 minutes prior to the start of your reservation. However I am yet to see this working. Basically 30 minutes before the reservation you are shown the category of your selected vehicle, and a bunch of options you have already seen when making your initial booking. Then at some random time later, you are congratulated with your vehicle choice that you did not make. I presume someone at the branch made a choice for you, and the app just displayed it. So much for the choice :-(. When I asked at the branch why I could not select the car, the staff was surprised and told me that it is their job to make a selection and went on explaining that the booking is for the category. Sure, of cause, I know that... I was renting in Amsterdam, maybe it is different in Germany. To sum up - do not bother installing.

Garbage company outside of Germany. US based branches are among the worst in terms of customer service in comparison to other rental companies. Unfortunately they have low rates which is hard to ignore. But anytime rates are comparable I always select a different company.

Used the app last February in Orlando for my rental. Worked good and the customer service was excellent and friendly. Using again this February as well. Hope we have the same experience. Had best rates as well and cars were brand new and clean.

Fidgety functionality when entering rental dates and times. Quality cars but among the most expensive on the market despite their ad campaign to the contrary. One of the few to impose mileage restrictions on many rentals and a rip-off for extras like insurance or GPS where it would be cheaper to buy your own tomtom than rent this option.

I must have made at least 20 bookings through this app and it works great. The only thing I have a hard time figuring out is why so much information needs to be documented again when you are at the physical counter!

worst experience ever wanted to rent a car already paid for it and i didnt had credit card they didnt gave me...thts also fine company rules ok but they havent gave my money back yet its been more then 1month
