So I actually LOVE sitter city. GREAT SITE. Plenty of people using it. As a nanny, I'm meeting a lot of great people and families on it. The app? Well, it likes to crash when I try to view my applications. Makes it hard to use it on the go when I need to see which family I am meeting on a whim. Please improve that and we are great.

The app isn't bad but the sitters were horrible. I got 12 people requesting to babysit and only had 2 respond that were professional! I understand it isn't the providers responsibility to check who signs up but extremely dissatisfied with the quality of applicants especially since I have to pay to use the service.

Firstly of all, I have used Sittercity and it is a great place to find babysitters. But, this app has a lot of bugs and doesn't offer anywhere near the amount of info on the profiles as the site does. Once you're in a message, that's it, you're stuck there until you force close the app. The only reason I'm keeping it its because it does notify you when you get an application/message and that's much easier than going through my email, but I still have to go to the site to read the messages.

An APP to find pet, senior or child care or for a person to find a job in the above areas. The APP doesn't work as well as it could. I can never read my messages on my phone. That is problematic for me. I always have to go to the laptop. Other "Sitter" APPS let you do so much more on your phone.

I wish it actually did work... it would be a lot better than going to the site.. but just go to the the site because it constantly crashes and sends unnecessary error messages.. please fix it

I am under the age of 18, however am very qualified for taking care of children and babies. I understand the trust issues in a kid but I have been caring for babies my whole life and was always there for my family and now wanted to help out other families. It makes me sad that I get turned down for my age.

I'm a pet care provider and the only jobs I'm able to look for is child care. You guys need an update ASAP for those of us looking for families that need a pet care provider. Looks as though im not the only one. Pets need care too not just kids. Really unfair to disregard pet care providers and pets! would be nice to be able to save this to my sd card rather than my phone memory.

I haven't been able to send messages (im premium member) Sorting option isn't as good as the website. It's missing alot of details. You are better off opening the website in your browser on your phone then using this app.

(for sitters) makes you go through all the steps to apply THEN tells you you have to pay for a background check. I understand how helpful that is having one, but there are better ways of going about it.

I have applied to numerous per sitting jobs, but NO ONE ever responds. Except for one person. Then, after a couple messages they just stopped emailing me. This app is a total waste of time. Also, I am NOT able to view any persons needing a sitter. I have to view them in my email versus on the app. But I only see the same ads for weeks.

Provided a sitter, said within 0 miles of me. She was over 45 minutes away. Mobile app doesnt allow you to message sitter. Did a search on laptop can't even find mobile app sitters. Not a good experience.

The only thing that needs improvement is that when I log back in, I ONLY want to see the job postings that I haven't applied to yet. Makes no sense for me to keep clicking on applications that I've already done.

You need to have everything you can do online also able to do on the app. There's only three pages to go to on the app. It's horrible.

The Web site is awesome and we have found several sitters to make our schedule work. But the app shows nothing and the applications are half readable with no pictures.

I have been trying to use this for nine months and it consistently fails me in every way!!! It is not user-friendly!!! I have spent a tremendous amount of time on upgrading & improving my profile, only for the information not to be saved and I have to re-enter information every time I Log-In or wish to apply to a job posting. ABSOLUTELY FRUSTRATING!!! I have had fifteen clients try to post a review & rating on my profile to increase my chances of getting new jobs and only 1 out of the fifteen were able to do so. This is after several tries for each client. I have applied to hundreds of job postings immediately and have only connected with two clients over a nine month span, who had to pay for an additional upgrade to Sittercity in order to get my phone# & email address. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!! IT CERTAINLY SEEMS LIKE THEY ARE SCAMMING EVERYONE INVOLVED!!!

I have noticed on your phone app that I cannot do any search for families looking for dog walkers or pet sitters. Can you please fix this so that we pet sitters can benefit from this app as well? I promise to better the rating once this is fixed.

There is not a single thing you can get done through the app. Open a new message? Error! Open a message you read before? Ok. Reply it? Error! Look for a job position? Error. Notification for new message? Ok. Opening the app through the notification? Error. So there is no point to have this app at all.

Please address the issue of the app crashing. I cannot send messages without a 401 noy authorized message appearing lately and I just downloaded this app a few days ago. This is silly.

I can't apply for jobs through the app. Just gives me an error saying I need to complete my profile but I can apply online with no issues.

Your app does not work half the time. I have to log in thru chrome to use your services.

It put me in as child care I'm want pet sitting won't let me change

The password never works no matter how many times I reset it. I'm just going to stick to the website.

Hitting the Contract button and typing the Message, followed by hitting the Send arrow button does nothing. Tried to contact a nanny a few times with no luck sending the typed message

I use to like this site. I am a Nanny that was booted for an issue that wasn't even investigated. The mother reported false information. I had proof it was false and they wouldn't even check it out. They also took my money for a background check and a vehicle but refused to give me a full refund after only a week after it was paid.

Rarely loads and works properly. Most of the time I have to go to the website.

Messages won't open. Need option to look at profile and edit availability. Need option to filter out job openings based on distance and hourly rate.

I have tested my login information many times on internet applications such as Firefox and Internet Explorer and I can log in every time, but when I log out and use the exact same login, it says that I have the wrong combination.

This app is already buggy to begin. It does not load the home screen.

Junk. Rarely useful. Very very unreliable.

first of all the app logs out all the time, so everytime somebody sends you a message you'll have to waste your time on logging in. Every. Single. Time. Second the so called "basic background check" will EXPIRE IN COUPLE OF MONTHS which you are not quite made aware of before you waste your money. And especially useless is the "newsletter" you receive every other day, with the "jobs around you" but mostly never even near you and almost always in different states and never remotely relevant to your search.

Felt bad!!! My message sent to the parents about 15 times, even though I only sent it once.

Compared to website, many things are sub par, don't work, our had missing information.

Just enough glitches that it is more useful to use the website.

App works OK, but I would like an option to see my profile on the app so I can edit it. It would be helpful so I can edit my availability and references on the go.

Easy to use, it's completely between you and the contact. If you're a sitter or you need one, there are many ads. Even for pet and house sitting.

Good for searching but can't read or send messages....pretty frustrating experience...

It's a scam. You have to pay them money to contact someone.

Got my first babysitting job off this site.

Does not work correctly, no way to sort sitters by last date signed on and generally a crappy attempt here.

Will not let me reply to messages or send new messages
