THIS IS TOTALLY THE BEST REPLACEMENT TO A PHYSICAL BIBLE, PAPER OR ELECTRONIC!! I guess I use my phone for many things but none can be as important as having my BIBLE ON MY PHONE TO USE ONLINE OR OFFLINE. I have a Bible for Church that I can Search, Make Notes, Hilight, etc. And it also is an INSPIRATIONAL MEDIA that READS TO ME which is what I do at night in the dark WHEN I PRAY. I have FINISHED some WONDERFUL BIBLE PLANS and have used the YouVersion SUPPORT in the past who when asked ANSWERED all my QUESTIONS. Try It, Read It, Live It !!

I had to drop this from 5 stars to 4 do to the fact I can't listen to it while my phone is off. It used to work great I had no problems with it and loved being able to listen to scripture while I worked. Now it will only play for a couple minutes once I put my phone back in my pocket. So I have to pull it out of my pocket and start playing it and it usually doesn't start off where it ended. It usually start at the beginning of the chapter is on. This is a big hassle. I've deleted and downloaded the app and also used multiple headphones thinking that might be the issue but with no luck.

I love this app, it keeps getting better and better with all of the updated options and so many bible studies, daily devotionals, daily bible verses, you can add your friends and share with them, highlight verses, write notes on fav verses, create your own pictures with verses, so many versions of different bibles, you can compare the versions. Now you can watch videos. Sooo much more! Its a must have app! Only issue i have is finding people in my contacts from phone when trying to invite or share with a friend. Hope that gets easier. Oh and its freeee!

I absolutely love this app! Not only can I read and highlight scripture but I can create and save verse images plus there are a lot of good devotions that you can do for free. The only recommendation that I would love to see is I would love to have it where I can set up multiple accounts within the app for my children on their shared device without having to sign in and out each time.

The daily scriptures are a sense of clarity on my dark days and much needed guidance on all others. I especially love the devotional plans. You can even have friends all over participate in a plan with you. It allows you to leave a comment about what you think the reading is saying to you and share it with your friends. I love it, I tell anyone willing to listen about this app.

Update: audio works fine now. Quick suggestion: it would be totally rad if we could schedule bible plans individually just like in the group reads instead of just saving the plan for later. Sometimes some saved plans are sadly forgotten. A reminder would help. Update: audio has not worked in about a month now. At first I thought it was poor internet connection, but even on Wi-Fi and when I'm sure network is great it's still the same. Yes! Loving the group plan update! It would be great if there was the option of scheduling personal plans as well. Great job guys!

This bible app is a well rounded coverage to accommodate almost any area of study you desire . I also appreciate being able to use it in church off line. It's just great! I am a lazy reader, so having the choice to have the scriptures read to me is mire than I could hope for. This app makes it impossible to give excuses for not studying God's word .

What better way to have the Bible with you at all times?! And I really love all the Daily Devotional plans!! Sometimes I find myself doing 3 or 4 plans at a time. I like the search feature when you can find any time of plan you're looking for, any word or topic in the Bible that you seek, etc. I can't recommend this more. For new or experienced readers of the Bible.

Unfortunately I have to give these folks a one-star review. They over inundate you with notifications. It's not helpful. It's just a pain in the ass to get notifications all day long from any application. When are people going to figure this out. Incidentally, this application has nothing to do with the Bible. It is simply a money-making tool. These people could care nothing about the word of God

oh my goodness I so love the new update, it is so fantastic!!!!! I have waited a long time for the side by side version option, thank you!!!!!!! This the the best bible app I've found!!!! It would be even more fantastic if when I made a note on a verse that it would create a link to that verse with in the text with the options​ of having it link to the whole verse, a phrase or one word. Would also be nice to have the availability to a direct link to the verse that is connected to a phrase in the passage that you're reading, instead of having to type that verse in the search bar.

I like this app but will be uninstalling it because even though I have all notifications turned off I'm still getting notifications about things they're doing and stuff that's going on. Takes me to their website. Annoying. I'll read the Bible the old fashion way if they must act like this. Thanks though for an otherwise good app.

The worst part of this app, is that it always shows you the daily verse in the NIV version, which is the version satan would have you read. You can not change this in the settings either. KJV should be the only version that anyone should read. The NIV and other versions leave verses out or change them completely. Ask yourself, who is the Mourning Star? Then go and compare from each version. One says that satan is the Mourning Star, and the other says that Christ Jesus is the Mourning Star. KJV. The only version that anyone should should read.

I am a bible reader. I study daily. I Do not worship anything but YeHoVaH. Why do you not have Hebrew scripture? Can one not read the Koren Jerusalem Tanahk or the JPS? I would like the real scripture, not a translation only.

I love this app so much and use it everyday. I'm doing so many plans because whenever I wanna look for guidance there are always a lot of plans to choose from. It is awesome studying the word of God with friends too! I love the "Talk it over" feature. I also really like the highlight feature for verses that stick out to me especially when you can edit it onto an image. My church recommended this to usher in 2018 and I love it so much.

What i have realized over the years is that i don't like the fact that you cannot copy your comments from a bookmark to your notes. Also, the app doesn't automatically save what you've written. If you accidentally back out of screen, you've list it all. Not Jesus's way at all. In fact, Jesus saves.

Excellent app, smooth and easy to use. One small issue is it signs me out every other day, but it's not a big deal. The reading plans are great and genius way to keep a person in touch with God's word everyday.

I love this app however when a user downloads a version of the bible for offline use their details are handed over to the publisher/copyright holder of that version. That wouldn't necessarily be a problem but then the publisher starts spamming the user with unsolicited emails. It's an annoyance

Great app. Today the reading plan widget stopped working. Can't place it on home screen on Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 as the save button is not on the bottom as it is when I place the widget on my Samsung Galaxy S8+. Do we have a fix coming for this issue?

Best Bible app out there, hands down. Easy to read (or have it read to you)! Many different features beyond just reading the Bible (which can be great or distracting depending on your personality). Having said that, I love the huge storehouse of devotional options in the app!

I wish the relevant search would be sorted. If I type "before you" there's no relevance distinction between the verses which contain exactly "before you", is it? I was looking for Isaiah 58:8, fortunately i remembered it was Isaiah but getting shuffled verses across Bible as a result; how helpful is that?

Stops after chapter 1 when audio reading. Before it used to read until stopped and I used to remember walking up to revelation chapter 22. Request time out and stops reading. I used to listen before bed now it's frustrating....plz fixxx

Great Bible app! But I am not able to use the verse of the day widget on my home screen, I really miss it. I had it, but then when i switched the memory from the internal storage to external storage, it disappeared. Would really appreciate it if you fixed it.

Best app on my phone! I love how you can read it in any size font, or have it read to you. Especially so you can know how to properly pronounce names and words. :)the bookmarks are great as well as the videos. Great job! In addition I love the new photos to post with scripture of the day. Now I have the app on my new tablet. God bless you for spreading the word through technology in today's world. "Still" the best app over all apps! God is great! Spread the word!

This Bible App is Extremely Amazing, it have very great plans, the videos helps alot with the Chapter. You can do all sorts of things creating Notes, High lighting, Book marks, Challenges, Plans!!!! Which is Incredible to help me get closer with God

Excellent easy to use Bible app with a great range of translations and extensive number of reading plans, all offered for free, plus reminders & encouragement to read your Bible on a regular basis. This is equal or better than most paid apps. You may initially be overwhelmed with emails from associated entities seeking donations or offering free downloads to try to sell you stuff but it is possible to opt out, or limit these to those that are relevant to you through preference settings in your account.

Adding streaks was a good idea. I don't know what changed tho cause now when I go to highlight the daily verse it takes me to the whole chapter instead of letting me read it afterwards. Like there used to be an option to read full chapter. And it's not that important but it's just a little annoying trying to find the one verse.

I am revising my previpus review because I cannot find the email for tech support. Since the update from one week ago the audio version only works if the app is open and my screen is on. It always requests a timeout. It is not a my phone issue because this inlu happens to this app. When I can listen to the audio without resetting and restarting it every 30 seconds then it will return to a 5 star app.

Love the app. It's part of my daily routine. I use it both for personal growth and to connect and build up other. One thing, why can't I change my darn profile pic? I initially used thebone I have a s a joke! Ha! Now I'm stuck. ????

I love the emoji option that allows you to choose from a list of feelings, then it gives you multiple verses to reassure you...don't ever get rid of it! Love it love it love it. I rarely ever have any issues with the app too

I love this Bible app!! It is good for reading offline. I like the different highlighting and bookmarking options it has!! I love how I can put a verse with a picture! This is a very good app and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a VERY good Bible app. I have tried other Bible apps, but they weren't as nice, so this one is a really good one out there. They also have so many devotional plans to choose from and I love it!

I love this app and basically find no faults in it, except a strange glitch whereby every time the letters 'rth' and present, they are capitalised e.g. fuRTHer. Can this be fixed? Love your work!

Audio problem , stops audio after screen is turned off on note 8. Reading fix. Please add ability to save verses in separate folders. With ability to name them. Also if reading and look at verse, when reopen reading it should go back to the book Originally reading not the last verse.

The best app in the world. New feedback: your new structure for search filters is great, but somehow I'm getting less results, and when I click "more results" it gives me none. I really think there's something wrong with that. Bible Gateway gives me 48 results for "resurrección". YouVersion only 3? Something's wrong! Thanks!

With every chapter I read my faith in atheism grows stronger. If the Bible is taken as the literal truth of God I weep for your intelligence and the harm you cause to your children and to all those around you. Be ashamed of yourselves.

I have checked out many, many other Bible apps and this one is far superior. There are more versions in many languages, hilighting function in a multitude of colors, note taking funbility to link up with friends who use this app. You can share text. I absolutely adore it's newest feature. I can create images with verses on stock images or from my own photos IF ONLY I could search my image list quickly by say typing in Matthew 5:6 & see what image I have already created. 2 YEARS LATER: STILL PLEASE come up with a search feature for going thru our own saved images by typing in which Bible verse it says.

This app is great, love the different translations and Bible plans! One thing I wish the app had, is a place to store my prayer requests so I can keep everything in one place. Thanks!

It's good. But I don't know why it's missing the rsv (revised standard version) in English versions. Would be great if added. Also will be great if can split screen to read two versions at a time on Android phone.

it needs audio on the Complete Jewish Bible , the rest is wonderful , so good , recommend to everyone that wants a great Bible app Had to switch phones and doesn't seem to work as good as it did The audio button has disappeared so can't turn audio on to listen What can l do to fix

Poorly written. I get that it's supposed to be some epic saga, and I can appreciate all the worldbuilding, but there's a lot of useless information as well as contradictory and conflicting messages. Also, a lot of violence and sexually explicit parts mean this book is NOT APPROPRIATE FOR CHILDREN. As a Christian, I cannot recommend this ungodly book to fellow believers.

I really love the App it helps me a lot in my journey with God. All the plans they are unlimited sometimes i even get covetous about which one to pick. Than to God for giving you people the wisdom to create such a great App
