Tourney Machine

The app only worked the day I installed it, ever since then none of the information is ever updated. Its so pointless. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times and it just flat out does not work. Super frustrating. Edit: Apparently the Tournament director is in charge of loading the info but for some reason other parents can see scores and standings but I can't. Guess you have to pay for premium in order for the app to work.

Just like other reviewers, after upgrading for $1.99 the ads came back on the 3rd day of the tournament. Plus this app is difficult to navigate. Get live scoring going and that will be a nice improvement. Ultimately I feel ripped off.

I was disappointed about paying extra to avoid ads only to have the ads return on the second day of the same tournament. Also, it wasn't made clear that you would have to pay a separate fee for each tournament. I think that should be made more clear at the beginning.

The app is difficult to use. Hard to identify the correct schedule. The location directions are incorrect and filled with ads. Don't bother with this.

It is terrible that I have to pay for each tournament to avoid the ads. You are double dipping! The tournament has to pay to use the service (they charge us in tournament fees) and you charge us to use the app! You guys suck!

I paid for the app on my previous phone - got a new phone and re-download but it gives me no option to sign in... Advise how to get back into my paid account and I'll bump up to 5 stars

Nice to have all the information in one place at my fingertips however I think having to pay $1.99 for EACH TOURNAMENT is rather ridiculous. I bought the app once, why do I have to pay again each time?

Don't buy it. You have to pay $1.99 for each tournament to avoid the ads. Waste of money

Where is the live scoring I paid for on the Nationals tournament 12u in Elizabethtown KY ? Told me $1.99 for live scoring at this event and NOTHING!?!?

I paid the "subscription" fee so the ads would be removed... it worked for most of the 1st day, but then the endless barrage of unwanted, unappreciated junk came back. I won't be sucked into paying again. SI should know better... very disappointed... and I'll make sure ALL of my friends and teammates never get sucked into paying either.

The app seems to have potential either that or I expected something with the prestigious name of Sports Illustrated to have more thought and polish applied to it. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get out of a tournament and in to another without deleting the app and downloading and reinstalling. All the while as the frustration mounts the ads keep coming. I'm sorry but I am deleting the app until there are some positive changes made to it.

Poor executions for a good idea. I find the tourny on the website and click for more info it ask me to download the app and I download the app no info for the tourny. Why ask me to download the app? To many adds and poor navigation in the app. Ruining the Sports Illustrated name. Deleted the app and dropped out of the tourny.

I paid a subscription fee thinking it would end the torrent of advertising. Apparently not. How much profit does one have to generate off of children's sports? Shame on you SPORTS ILLUSTRATED.

The app seems fine, I just find it real disappointing to be in an app for youth tournaments and be bombarded by ads for erectile dysfunction.

Every time I select what I want to see, it tells me to download the app. Well, its already downloaded.

Awful. Can't find the event by location or search. Free is too much for this app.

Standings were incomplete the whole tournament. Frustrating and useless.

App doesn't display the event. All of my iPhone friends seem to be able to access the same event.

Disappointed that I can't find tournaments on the app that I have the link for from three tournament director. Every time I use the link it ask me to use the app. I open the app and I can't locate the tournament I have the link for. Ridiculous

Hard to use

Worst App ever! Teams are missing. Future games not posted. Very difficult to navigate. Ads make it more confusing. Just plain ole awful!

It only works every now and again. Cant even open it.

Sucks for high school sports

I wish there was a way to merge schedules for the same sport. I have 3 baseball teams of different ages I'm trying to keep track of. It's difficult to switch between teams without closing out the app completely.

Good app, but 2 missing items keeping it from 4/5 stars for me: Sharing: how can I share tournament details with someone so they can click a link and get all the info? Ads: needs an option to have a paid ad free version.

This app doesn't work. I have installed it on two different devices and it continually shuts down. Have tried uninstalling and reinstalling still doesn't work. Prior to that the app could not readjust a bracket for a corrected score.

Cannot change from one sport to the next easily or even get new schedules for same sport. Have to uninstall and install again but this isn't even working now. Need new soccer schedule, but keep getting old basketball schedule.

I paid to "upgrade" to Tourney Pass to avoid the ads. Worked great the first day of the tournament. Bombarded by ads on the second day. Very disappointed. If that can't be fixed, I'd like a refund. In response: It was the same tournament! The second day! What a rip-off if I have to pay $1.99 for EACH tournament! Now my review is a one star.
