Parola di Dio del Giorno BNR

La Nuova Riveduta è una traduzione della Bibbia in Italiano.

Prende il nome Nuova Riveduta dalla versione Riveduta curata da Giovanni Luzzi negli anni Venti che a sua volta è una revisione della traduzione di Giovanni Diodati del XVII secolo. Le nuove revisioni tengono via via conto delle concezioni scientifiche più recenti di critica testuale.

È la Bibbia più usata nel mondo protestante ed evangelico, vale a dire tra quei cristiani che rifacendosi al principio "Sola Scriptura", valorizzano al massimo il testo biblico ritenendolo unica fonte della Parola di Dio. Questa traduzione, nello specifico, ha la particolarità di tenersi al passo con le evoluzioni della lingua italiana e con gli ultimi ritrovamenti archeologici (es. grotte di Qumran).

It takes its name from the New Revised Standard Revised Version curated by Giovanni Luzzi in the twenties which in turn is a revision of the Giovanni Diodati translation of the seventeenth century. The new revisions gradually take account of the latest scientific concepts of textual criticism.
