About Microbrute LFO generator

This is a very simple LFO generator I made to modulate my Microbrute. Alas, the output voltage of my Samsung Galaxy goes up to about 0.3 V and Microbrute needs 5, so you will need some sort of amplification or bear with the subtility of modulation amplitude (goes up and down to cover about a fifth in pitch, though). Luckily there seems to be no output filters on my Galaxy to mess neither with noise nor the low frequencies.

Lame screenshots, default android GUI design, waveforms: SIN, SQR, TRI, SAW and S&H / noise generation for now... Hopefully someone with more knowledge will make something more useful, maybe with MB-gate-out to Android-mic-in to retrigger LFO, etc.

Have fun!
(works with my 'trusty old' Samsung Galaxy S i9000 - android v 2.3.3 and Yarvik Xenta tablet - android v 4.1.1)

Would definitely love a Tempo option with some presets. That would be easier than having to convert the tempo to Hz

This is great. Android users don't get many handy music utilities like this so this is immensely appreciated. A suggestion though: This works for all modular gear, so I'd change the name. Add in a tap-tempo control, user-definable waveforms, and charge a couple bucks for it and you'll have the perfect app. Great job!

I think this concept could be expanded later by having the mic act as trigger/gate, left act as an envelope and right act as an lfo. Even as it this is great though

Can't wait to see the update. The frequency choice slider doesn't work well on my Kindle Fire or S4. It jumps or doesn't change the frequency. A few requests if possible: 1. More wave-forms. 2. Ability to go below 1Hz. Is the source-code posted somewhere? The S&H worked greater on my modular. Nice work. === Thanks for the update. Would it be possible to have buttons vs. a slider that makes these adjustments? I haven't programmed in Android yet, but may have to after looking at that source code. Did you post your source code anywhere?
