Caustic Editor for VolcaSample

I was able to record live guitar and cut it up for use in caustic. It would be nice to have graphic beat marks at a specified bpm to help in this process. I used 2 androids, one playing my arrangements in caustic and the other recording guitar in this app. I was able to do some accurate cutting but needed a calculator. ...thus my request for a beat or cadence line with tick marks. I would just type in the speed that my final draft would be playing. Almost as good as if caustic had an audio track. ....

Super useful! I would love to see a few more features that seem pretty doable. Copy sample so I could apply an effect to one and have both without saving and loading etc. Information about sample size in the sample list view so I can make informed decision on purging samples. The ability to save and load whole sample packs would allow me to backup, restore and trade them with friends. Hope that's useful feedback, keep up the good work!

Love it and am grateful for it. Only “Problem“ i have, is the incorrect display of memory available on the volca. For e.g. it says 86% but i cant load any samples on it anymore.

Huawei Honor 8 on Nougat. Doesn't work at all. Tried multiple volume levels, airplane mode, the volca sample pretends to transfer data for half a second before giving me an error.

It is give me 1muints to record & i tried to buy it no tool to buy .... if you make upload for MP3 file will be good also

This app works flawlessly, and the only way it would not work for someone is they don't have correct audio settings / they have some Eq option enabled whether they know it or not. Would gladly pay for this but it's free

Un- and replug the cable just before clicking "sync" when your volca sample doesnt react

I really considered un-installing this app when I couldn't figure out how to loading my own samples in. But it works! Here's a fews tips for anyone out there who still cant figure it out: before you load your sounds, DELETE HALF or ALL the presets on Volca. On the phone, TURN OFF all audio enhancing apps and EQ on your music player app. Turn on Airplane mode at FULL vol. while Volca on 0 vol. before sync. Hope this helps.

Well I'm impressed. Not only is this app easy to use it's also got tons of editing features plus fx to shape an change your samples. At first I struggled to transfer but when I realized I needed to have the volume up high on my Android device it was simple and quick. I bought the volca hoping that someone would develop an app for non ios users.....here it it. Many thanks

Amazing app, thou, when I try to load some samples volca shows an error. The app continues uploading but volca shows "err crc". Some samples work well. I trim all samples to less than 3 seconds, but it still works only with some samples, while they are all of same quality and rate etc. Can you help me solve this problem?

Looks like it would be great but problems on htc m8. Everything seems to be fine but after I have a sample recorded and edited on phone and try to sync it the volca doesn't receive anything. It says it's syncing on the app. But the top loading bar does nothing. And no indication of anything happening on the volca LED. is there any sample protection on the volca that is perhaps switched on by default to protect the factory bank?

This is the only app I have been able to get to work with the volca. Transfered my sounds well and it worked as it should. If you notice most complaints are by people who didn't follow the developers instructions (not turning device on airplane mode, plugging into the wrong port...) Or by people with crappy devices to begin with.

On my Oneplus One it doesn't seem able to transfer to the volca

Having owned the Bass and Beats Volcas already, and being a long time Caustic user, CEVS and my Sample quick became indispensable tools for my music. The Samples lack of onboard Sample recording is more than made up for by the ease of using CEVS and the fact that Caustics wave editor is the best one available on Android. Thanks Rej, you've made me on happy Volca owner ;)

Already bought Caustic 3 and I'm willing to pay for this app to support the dev. Please add ability to mix & save sample kits and add the ability to speed up samples to save longer samples on hardware. (Limited internal space)

Would love it if you could add SD card access to the programming, I tried editing config but no joy, thanks for the app I can work on my sample library while at work, genius!

Great app! If you get a error message just lower the volume on your device and try it again. I used it to reset the factory settings.

Awesome!!!! I wish the developer would come out with a new version, just so they could afford to add added functionality to this one; I would've voted for 5 stars, but everybody votes 5, if we get both extremes really high people will look to 2 and 4, so I'm backing 4 because I liked it

Love the app! Simple interface, easy to use, and intuitive. AND the creator was very responsive and helpful through emails about an issue I was having. This is the only app you need for your volca.

Its good for vocal but has a limit to record. Add unlimited time for each channel. I will surely give 5stars. Plz cancel the time limit....... Thanks

i'm actually just editing the volume by using the amplify feature and it was ok at first but after a minute i was shocked the voice became so very deep and slow i was scared i thought it was a scare prank! wtf

Its a fine app but it catches noises behind you, and another thing is that when you are deleting the stuff you made it makes a horrible screeching noise its just horrible, another thing is you can barely edit it, solo that's why I gave it a 2 star because there's many things that can be fixed with it, if you can fix it I may give it more stars,

Works great! Helpful advice: Samples won't load if they are too loud or too quiet.

Need a button to take you to editing side. Why such short recording accounts. Shouldn't it be endless?

Without this it's a nice toy. With this it's a serious bit of production kit.. Single cell does it right yet again.

Bit of fiddling about with but that's on the volca end. No problems at all.
