Learn Thai Language with Master Ling

I really like that the app has voice overs that talk slow enough for me to understand. Since i can't read thai, I wish the app would explain which symbols matched up to which sounds. But overall very useful app.

After getting flustered from working with a tutor, I decided to give this app a try. Way more fun and I like being able to go at my own pace. I feel like I'm absorbing the language and its really fun!

(Update) I've figured out how to change between using transliteration and Thai script. This is a fun way to learn Thai. It challenges you as you learn by including words in the card matching sections that you haven't learned yet. You can listen to pronunciation of words by a computerized speaker. Although it's not a real person speaking, it sounds very good and the tones are accurate. In some sections you can spell the words based on a given set of letters. I've only tried lessons in the beginner and intermediate stage. In these you are always asked to spell using Roman letters. I would like to see a setup that allows you to input using the Thai script.

Love the user friendly interface and relevant lessons! The pictures can be a little less obvious and the text a little small for reading. I would also love some Northern Thai additions as well.

I am really loving this app so far. Only been using it for a bit but its great. It is very similar to other language apps I have used like Duolingo and Memrise - apps that I also enjoy. I do feel however, that it could be improved a little by not having to press the continue button as often. Similar language apps often take you directly to the next question if you get it right - it makes it flow better. Also the yellow colour scheme is a bit full on.

A fun, engaging en even slightly addictive way to learn the Thai language. Impressed! I just wonder what level and understanding of the language I would have after completing all 50 units? Any insight on that? Don't see any issues yet, although it would be great if I hear the tones of the characters during the writing practice.

This app offers a fantastic interactive learning experience that makes it both fun & easy to learn. My native speaking wife was extremely impressed with my progress after just 1 lesson! Strongly advise to anyone who would like to learn to speak, write and become fluent in the native Thai language.

Tried many other learning thai app but this one really good and easy to use. Highly recommended! One small suggestion, please make a prompt to exit app when back button pressed, else it will keep back to phone home ui and need to launch it again. Cheer!

I have been using the app for about 3 days now. I really do think this is the best app I have come across for learning thai. I like the fact that each part is kind of downloaded meaning that I can use it offline. This really is different from other apps and the fact that you can turn phonetics on/off and change from phonetics to thai script means that you can actually go through lessons more than once. The gradual and consistent progress can be measured and the exams are a good way to check progress as well as the speech tests. I am in Chiang Mai learning thai so obviously I have my phone full of apps etc. This will replace nearly all of them apart from the dictionaries. Everyone that I have shown this app to has immediately installed it. I am sat with 3 people using it now. If you are learning thai install this app now. I will be using this app alongside my classes. And the subscription is at a very reasonable price as well. As I said before. Very well done to the people behind this app.

Was awesome but now says network error everytime i open it. My other internet dependent apps work fine.

(Edited) Great responsive development team made me give the app a second chance. Happy I did, cos previously it was buggy for me, but all good now on my s8.

This app actually helps me to learn Thai. I've been trying to learn using different methods for ages, but this app breaks Thai learning down into easy and simple ways.

I like the lesson structure ...helps a little by having known some base words...think this will become something I use everyday. Kudos!

Great intro to Thai!!! It might be nice to also have a game for learning the alphabet
