Actually have this on a Kindle Fire 7" with most everything working as well as can be expected except that the 3D models of some objects aren't showing - Phobos, Deimos, Vesta, the ISS etc. Maybe it's a problem with OpenGL. Takes up a shade under 1.8 GB. Still an absolutely awesome app, the ultimate for astronomy.

I started using Sky Safari to control my telescope with SkyBT and the combination of this app and SkyBT has changed my stargazing experience. The alignment process and navigation has mad Ethernet process of finding and tracking objects in space as easy as sending a text.

Use this app to drive my Dob on both my android devices. Bluetooth connection is sometimes a little fickle. I may switch to Wi-Fi. A few bugs. Objects I. The deep space list appear multiple times which is annoying , but I really like it overall.

Previously used mobile observatory and although i thought that was great, sky safari 5 pro is better ( but costs more). Many more stars in the catalogue, so it's easier to star hop. I don't have a motorized scope so can't comment on that aspect of it. Highly recommended and worth the price.

I got it for the Solar Eclipse feature but this needs Android 5 which I do not have. I already have SkySafari 5 Plus so this is not much of an upgrade for me. It would have been nice to inform us that we need Android 5....

I have this on my iPad and it's fantastic. However, the one on my Samsung S7 crashes on opening. Very disappointing. There does not seem to be a way of contacting support. 14 July 2017 - found a solution on the web. All Ok now.
