HoverPlayer is a powerful free music player! HoverPlayer complies with the YouTube's Terms of Use and finds you an alternative and legal way to play YouTube music videos, songs or movies in a floating popup video player. With this YouTube popup player, you can turn YouTube videos into a music streaming service and listen to music online totally for free without needing to download anything. This also gives you the real multitasking experience on your android devices (the floating popup player cannot be hidden). Only alt found yet far that actually stays open when multi tasking. Lack of share to open from other apps and nnon queue (auto from search or currently playing) makes experience just the teeniest sub par though. Recommending that taps (and shares) enqueue rather than replace. Not sure how anybody else would feel about this but as long as they only overlay and not launch out of other apps (when multitasking, can take soundless full screen ads which are the MO for many music apps now. EDIT: correction, can redirect from share from other apps after all - requires app to run first time. Bug when starting up app after having closed it in launcher, closes overlay. Could also do without the app switching on share send. The best PIP app found yet - sometimes a little larger video for chosen moments is all that's needed. Neither full blown fullscreen nor teenies that require hoop(screen) jumping and semi permanence. If auto playlist of searches was added, this would be almost five star. Also please dont display the autocomplete dropdown when a search is already open.. Unexpected perk? No stupid delete overlay underbar. Recommend feature to quick open a playlist from overlay so one can add a single video then switch right back to the full and updated playlist. Supreme ease of playlist addition (though requiring extra taps for selection) is the praiseworthy feature other floats should learn from.

This is a great app that does what it says and allows you to multi task while watching your video of choice. Great work!

Works great on my Nexus 9 (2nd generation). It solves one of the main problems with YouTube, the fact that you can't play a video and do anything else at the same time. Videos opened from this app automatically open in a small window that you can then resize with two fingers. You can move it around and do other things in the background. It's quite simple to use and the developer is responsive.

So far, so good. Was using "Stream" by DJiT, but was a pain in the ass to change window size (had to exit current video and go back two screens into main settings, then re-search and re-select video again). Your app very easy to do (two-finger). Thanks. Keep up the good work.
