If I could rate this app with 0 stars I would. It won't let me search anything, can't search jobs in my zipcode, city or state. Can't search job titles either. It just keeps giving me error messages. Only lets me look at job suggestions and the jobs the app are suggesting are states away. Completely useless, immediately uninstalling.
It would be even better if u could save or set the type job your applying for instead of having to type them in every time u go to view it.. Also the description an requirements are all jumbled together so it makes hard to read
Nobody posts jobs in this site, they poach them from others job sites that have much better apps. Their "relevant" suggestions are always off, and "new" postings are days old. This app sucks as much as it did the last time I uninstalled it.
I've had this app for 7 months and not useful for me at all. Still unemployed. I've had more opportunities from all the other apps I've installed for job searching. The overall layout needs to be updated! Removed it!
A simple search that used to bring up dozens of results has now, after the update, resulted in 0 matches. And that's even using the title and location suggestions in the search box. Swell job, guys.
This was a good app till the update, needs to catch up with Indeed. The latest update really messed it up. I may Uninstall unless it improves. Since the last update, the app will not list the jobs I search. I will Uninstall this app. Fortunately the desktop version still works.
The app isn't very user friendly. Sometimes I can't even sign in. It definitely does not perform up to the standard of other job search apps or the Simply Hired website.
This is the way to go if you are looking for a new career. Are if your like me just starting out. And don't really know what you would like to do. There are a lot of different choices. And it's super easy to use ! I liked it and also snag a job are indeed are also good apps to uses for finding a JOB! Good luck to u all
Most jobs are expired. When I do try to fill out an app it won't let me, keeps saying all of my email addresses are not valid.
Not only does it not save searches correctly, the latest "update" removed the ability to send a job to someone via email.
Close buttons to back out of menus, seriously?! On Android, you should always be able to swipe the side menus away to hide them (and/or tap an area outside of the menu). Another feature that I mentioned months ago but hasn't been implemented or acknowledged is the ability to hide jobs from select employers. For instance, if you've already applied with them or have no interest in working for them. Also, there is no way to forward jobs to my email or save them to my account...
Seems to find more available positions than others. Only complaint would be lack of salaries, unless I'm missing it.. Other apps show salaries
There are some kinks that need to be worked out. And its a little behind sometimes with whats been posted. Its a good start, not perfect or awesome yet.
Buggy. Keep getting false positives on Cross Site Reference Forgery when I'm doing new searches. Otherwise, it's good.
Application is working and I'm applying for jobs. I problems so far.
too hard to use.
Great app. Simple to use and clean. Just the information you need. They just need to make their website as clean as their app so you don't always have to use the phone.
I've been using this app while on break from my classes. It's been good for me so far.
Not at detailed as it could be but it is effective at locating quality jobs. If simple and effective are what you're looking for then you'll appreciate this app.
I wish it was more like the desktop site with more options in the settings with regards to location and other filters. I would love to see an option where you can draw your map of where you want to seek jobs, similar to zillow.
Doesn't work! Wish I could give it 0 star's! It doesn't work!! It's more trouble than it's worth! Just DON'T DO IT!!! Deleting and reporting as fake app!!!
Please fix, asap, because I'm trying 2 get a full time job offer before September 29, 2015
Depends on whether a company decides to list a job opening on here or not. The Indeed app still seems to search the best out of any.
With more search options available, this app could easily become the go-to app for employment seekers.
This is a very helpful app. It makes applying online much easier. Just wished they had themselves listed in the referral section of the application process. They deserve the credit. Do you all go by a different name other than Simply Hired? It wasn't on their list.
Need more tools to search with. Be able to apply from the app weather your on a phone, desktop or laptop.
It's okay, but I'll be honest, I got to this app second to indeed, or glassdoor
Only shows last four searches and then doubles each search. Basically it saves the last two searches. Also, recently most jobs even those just posted are showing as closed.
I wish it was mobile friendly to the point that we could apply some jobs directly through the app but i still love it.
More info than other apps I have for job searches
Very few search filters available in the app. Can't filter by disance, job type, etc. and there is no way to hide employers. It would also be nice if you shaded listings you've already viewed, and any identical listings as well. It would also let you quickly see which jobs you've already looked at when you come back after a week or two from and only want to see the listings you haven't looked at. Please work on these features, as not much has changed in the app since I started using it over a year ago.
EVERY TIME that I used one of the saved searches, it sorts by relevance and I have to change the search manually to have it sort by date. Why won't it remember ALL of the parameters of my searches, including the sort order?
I get a lot of job results that WAY outside of my search criteria. I also don't like that one facility can fill up 5 pages with job offers.
I downloaded this app just recently and it has done an amazing job at giving me the results/positions I am looking for (an entry level marketing position). This became especially efficient when I uploaded my personal resume to my account and began doing more and more searches, which SimplyHired saved and optimized for my future searches. So what I've found is that the more I search, click, and save jobs, the better results I get. Definitely will be an app that I'll be using for the long haul.
it would be nice to be able to limit distance, or better yet- filter results by state. I live near the border of my state but do not want to work In the neighboring state. I am only looking for jobs in the state in which I reside. 90% of the available jobs are in a large city in a neighboring state, but those jobs are available because who wants to work in a stinky city with bad drivers? I will leave those jobs to residents of that city who are desensitized to the smell.
Use it daily. Let's me keep up with all jobs posted.
Good app, lots of leads, but has a few little issues
I have three other Job search apps on my phone. I have to this one is the best.
It provided different job opportunity ideas and search categories.

One of the main reasons to use an ap over the website is readability. But there are postings where the text doesn't wrap and you end up scrolling sideways on every line. When you try to turn the phone to have a wider view, the app just makes the text bigger so you still have to scroll and text zoom is disabled. Soo broken. I ultimately found the posting on the employers website and cut out the middle man, which is kind of unfair, but the app was so aggressively obstructive.
