Good for searching their catalogue or locating items in store or saving items for sale alerts...when it works. Doesn't remember login so you have to login frequently. My CT Money balance often says 0 when it's not 0. Can't redeem CT Money when purchasing through the app. Often says "oops something went wrong". Often says I don't have internet connection when I do. No purchase history or e receipts for in store purchases. Useful app but could be much better.

The app itself works well. Being able to check your money balance on the card is nice. The price scan works very well. But, if you change your profile info, especially email address, it causes so many problems. In short, you will have to go get a new "money card". It should be easier!

This is one of the most frustrating apps I've ever used. I have not been able to reset my password because every time I send the request it sends me a link to change password but tells me it is experiencing technical difficulties and cannot process at this time. This has been going on for months. As a result I can't access the loyalty program and cash in my credits. This is a great example of a bricks and mortar business that is going to be consumed by online competitors for lack of a customer centric focus.

Problem 1: it sends you notifications but can't actually display what the notification was for! You have a sales alert! Problem 2: there's a huge disconnect from the developers and the users. At least that's what I hope as it feels like the app is in alpha... For example the 25x deals? You'd think that you'd be able to get to the product from the notifications/activation thing. Nope! You have to go searching for it...

App is super sensitive, slow loading and glitchy. When scrolling the app will randomly take you to one of the items on the list, thinking you selescted it. Worst part is when you hit 'back' from an item. You automatically start at the top of your list so if you were 300 items down get ready to scroll again. This means if a local store has a sale of more than about 100 items, fat chance anyone is going to see anything past 100 before it selects something, then sends you back to the top. Absolute garbage app, only kept it for seeing my ct money but then ended up deleting it anyway.

The app is garbage, the website works much better. First, the app struggles to remember who I am, either forcing me to manually log in all the time, or forcing me to re-register my card all the time. Stupid. Second, when viewing a flyer in list mode, if you go to an item detail then hit the back button, it goes into page mode which is awful. Why is there a page mode anyway? It's garbage. Make list mode the default. Third, the flyer can't decide whether to show percent discount, regular price, or total dollar discount. Just show all of one kind of discount so we can compare apples to apples. Finally nag notifications!! OMG stop nagging me. Just. Shut. Up!!! So yeah. The app is garbage, and just makes me angry. Uninstalling.

I really like how you can find what you're looking for and it will tell you the exact isle it's in, at an individual store, and how many in stock. I HATE that it doesn't leave one signed in so you have to enter a password every single time. If I enter the password wrong, twice, it locks me out for 24hrs. After going through the whole password process and logging in it immediately logs me out and starts the whole password reset process all over again. If not for the password issues it would be 5 stars.

This is actually a really slick app. It will not only tell you if a product is in stock at any particular store, but even tell you what aisle it is in. If you find something in the store, you can scan its barcode to read user reviews or add it to your shopping list. The app will also tell you if anything on your shopping list goes on sale. You can also view the weekly flyer from within the app, and easily click on each item to find that item within the app and read the reviews, check stock, add it to your list, etc. Review updated to reflect that it no longer constantly begs for your password, which is nice.

This app, as well as the website, is one of the worst I have ever encountered. You can save your vehicle in the app's 'garage'. Great! That'll make it easy to find parts. Nope. According to the app, Canadian Tire doesn't even stock a battery that will fit my vehicle. The tires I want, which I know are the right size because it says so in the owner's manual, are not the correct ones for my vehicle according to the app and the website. As much use as a chocolate teapot.

I just don't understand how a big company skips out on spending money on their app. It just never works. Now it won't let me look at the flyer because it has a hard time finding locations. Amazing how they are probably paying someone big bucks who has no clue how to do anything related to technology. Feels like a scam against Canadian tire.

All issues I've had with this app have been fixed. I use this to browse, search for specific items, occasionally view the flyer and add things to my shopping list. The sale alert is pretty handy too!

I thought this app would be like my other loyalty apps, just add the ctc money card with the barcode to my Android Pay wallet and have the cashier scan it. No Way. The card that shows in Android Pay has the account number but No Barcode....to get the card with the barcode I have to open the Ctc app..... enter my email and pass code.... then drill down to the page that has the barcode.....that didn't take to long eh? Why can't Crappy Tire just have a card like all the other apps? When I complained at the courtesy desk they said "just link a plastic card to your account, then scan that card at the cash" Hello....the best reason for an app like this is to avoid carrying a lot of plastic, and to make it Fast and Convenient.....I give this app a fail.

Useless app. Constantly logs you out and you have to re-enter your info. Hey Canadian Tire Execs, get your ass out of Bermuda and invest all that Canafian Tire money you spent millions on printing, and use it to pay for development of your app, that's supposed to replace your Canadian Tire money with!!

This app is great. I dont get the hate reviews. Any one who thinks this app it bad is an idiot cause its the greatest shopping app ive ever seen.

This app is slow. I don't know what's going on 'under the covers' but it's slow to load, slow to scroll (flyer list view) and painful to use. Normal flyer mode is awful for different reasons. Developers need to focus more on UX. Ran CTC & Mark's Web sites through Google tools - common theme is very poor performance. Discovered CT app not compatible with my tablet?? Come on, this is 2018 and CTC falling behind - fast.

I like seeing the stuff on sale unfortunately it gives a very unrealistic stock in hand. made a special trip and they were out of every item that was "in stock" I 2ouldnt have that option showing if the inventory isn't updated

Everytime I try to look at the app a pop up with a picture of a tow truck says "oops something went wrong". App doesn't work, tried reinstalling it and same thing. Unusable

I've never seen an app that consistently won't let you login like this one. I've removed it multiple times because it's a waste to have, and come back months later. Still not fixed...

The ability to scan barcodes in store and read online reviews is a great asset - in addition to a price check! I wish the app could keep me logged in. I have "remember me" checked, but still need to enter a password each time I open the app.

I can never login to my account. That makes it pretty much a useless app. Even their website behaves the same way. Useless.

App terrible. Most of the time it won't recognize my email and won't allow me to log in. Gives error message but it gets cut off and unreadable. Just a complete waste of time

Very useful for shopping, browsing prices and having them fetch your order and have it ready at customer service. No glitches with the App either on BlackBerry Priv phone or Samsung Galaxy S2 tablet. I use it all the time.

I use this app to search the product. It is good. However, everytime I tried to scan card at the store it asks me to log in. i think once i installed the app in my phone and logged in once, i don't need to do it again.

Why does this app need access to flashlight, calendar, camera, external storage, vibrate, along with the permissions that make some sense link GPS location network etc

Everytime I do a search or view their flyer the app crashes. I'm using a LG v20 and all other apps works great so I doubt it's the phone causing the crash.

I just got 5 of the exact same notifications about getting 20x the times. I get it, and I don't care! Stop sending me the same message! App is now deleted.

always saying "something went wrong" when trying to open flyers or putting in my "locate me" and all thee cookies and everything else is on

App uses notifications for advertising. Nothing as infuriating as hearing a notification sound, only to look at your phone and see it's an app using a notification as an advert. This is not what notifications are for.

This app crashes and logs me out and then locks me out multiple times. The remeber me option doesn't work.

The feature that lets you know when your wishlist items are on sale is a deadly precursor for impulse buying

This app is good for shopping with, but a little glitchy with flyer pages and checkout. Expect to do things 2-3 times.

Love that card can be shown as soon as you open the app. Love that it shows how many are left and the aisle # and other stores if none left. Love the shopping list with aisle #. Love the quick search.

Stupid App. Sends me push notifications for my list but wont show me

Can't sign in to the app due to the flawed sign in process. Small, hard to see images should not be part of the process.

It is a handy app when searching products to know if there is stock in store before going to purchase.

Viewing flyers doesn't work after the most recent update.

Have to login every time with the last update and prove you are not a robot pain in the ass

This app is garbage can't even fee the flyers anymore . It just asks for a postal code then says oppps sorry taking to long meanwhile I started typing the damn postal code

Crashes constantly, I can't view the flyers because it won't detect my location and it will no longer allow me to pick my store manually. Really frustrating. Fix it.

Unable to search for items like "Torque Wrenches" which I can do at the store's touch screens but can't see nearest stores with stock. Need this app for that..
