About Simple TimeSheet
Simple TimeSheet is a simple Time Recording / Time Tracking application for Android. Adding and managing projects is quick and simple. This app supports email exporting, so that you can view your weekly reports on your PC, or even send them right to Human Resources!
UPDATES: Google DATA BACKUP is now supported! Notifcations are now supported! Settings menu is now implemented! Projects can now stay checked in past midnight (new timestamp automatically created for the following day)!
Instructions for application:
- You can add new projects to the main screen by clicking the row titled "Add Project..." at the top of the main screen. You can easily rename a project by Clicking & Holding on the project row. A menu will pop up with "Edit Project Name" as one of the available options. There is also an option to delete the project and to view the Time Stamps for the project).
- Click anywhere on a project row when you are ready to start working on that project (The row will turn green and display the word "ACTIVE").
- Click anywhere on an active project row to check out of the active project (or on a different/inactive project row).
- You can view weekly reports by clicking the "View Weekly Reports" button in the top-right corner of the main screen. Weekly reports will display the hours worked for each project in a given week.
- On the Weekly Reports screen, you can select a date to view the report for the week containing that date, or you can use the "Last Week" and "Next Week" buttons to cycle through each weekly report.
- The "Decimal Format" check box allows you to switch between decimal hours or clock based hours (for example 4.5 or 04:30:00).
- You can export your weekly report by using the "Share Via Email" button in the top-right corner of the "Weekly Reports" screen (report is sent as a .CSV file, which can be opened in Excel or other spreadsheet programs. I also send the raw data from the .CSV in the email as well). NOTES ARE HERE, and they are automatically collected and placed in the body of the email!

Finally! A timesheet app that actually does what I want! Ie. it allows me to track the time I spend on each of several tasks, see totals, and adjust start/stop times, if/when necessary. The only feature lacking for me is a total for each day on the weekly summary page.

I love it. Does precisely what I need, and doesn't want access to stuff it doesn't need. Like another user i am faced with the prospect of switching phones, and I can't find the app's database to transfer. All in all, an excellent app. UPDATE: Cool. Very quick response to my comments. For various reasons using ADB for my own backup was not going to happen any time soon. I'll be testing cross device transfer of the database soon.

The app is good for viewing a time sheet. The colors can be different instead of pure white.

But I needed to reinstall my phone. Could find no way to save my data so emailed the programmer for assistance and received no response. This meant I lost all my data. Needless to say I have now changed to a different app.

I use this app for me cleaning business and when I do construction work for some of my friends. This app allows me to keep track of where I'm working, what I'm doing and how long I was there. I would like just one more thing updated on it. Could you have it continue tracking time pass midnight, I clean a few places late and add a save, send or transfer feature so when we change phones we don't lose our logged times. I still love it.

This app is great if you're looking for a time sheet app. It gets the job done and if all you need is functionality, this will do you no wrong. I did wish it was a bit more aesthetically pleasing and that the buttons were a little bigger and more spread out, but overall this app is great if you're looking for a timesheet and I recommend it!

Nice and simple app. Exactly what someone who needs to keep track of time in their tasks would need. It would be nice if you could be simultaneously working on multiple tasks at the same time though.

This app is simple to use and intuitive. Would definitely rec. to anyone looking for an app that will let you clock in and out of multiple projects a day and keep track of all hours for the end of the week to fill out a timesheet. It even has the option to email the info to you in CSV format. I've been using it since it appeared on the app store and it really simplifies my time tracking at work. Well done. Will be looking forward to the pro version or any updates.

Tried many but they were complicated by trying to do too much. Simple TimeSheet simply does the job of tracking my time on multiple projects and reporting the totals. It's quick to set up and operate, intuitive, and works perfectly. Thank you Justin!

Just wish you could send your time stamps in your emails. It only sends total time. Would still recommend!

Working on numerous different projects for different clients everyday, keeping track of how long tasks take and time spent per project becomes difficult, esp with daily interruption. This app allows me to create project. Record time. Pause, continue (with options of adding a note) to keep track of time spent. And will email me report once a week. Thank you for a great app. Just what I was looking for
