About Simple In/Out
Simple In/Out is the easiest to use in/out board in the Play Store. It is great for offices with people always on the go. Our easy to use interface lets you quickly set your status and get back to work. We also have the ability to automatically set your status using our Geofence, Beacon, and Network features. Just create a fence around your office and turn it on in the app. If you want to use a custom message, just add it for that fence. Just set it, and forget it! What could be easier?
Our app is also connected directly to our entire suite of apps and services, so if you don't have your device on hand, you can still check on other people or set your own status.

In order for Automatic Status Updates to work accurately and consistently we request that you give Simple In/Out full background access.
Allowing Simple In/Out to have full background access will ensure that your status is always updated immediately when entering or exiting the office. This does increase battery usage but is vital for keeping the company board accurate. We will not abuse this privilege and we will only run background tasks when updating your status automatically via Geofences, Beacons, or Networks.
Simple In/Out offers a Free 45 day trial with all of our features available for use. Try everything out with no restrictions before committing to a specific subscription plan. All of our subscription plans are based on the number of users needed and auto-renew each month.

We Just rolled this out for our IT department and love it! Simple to use and it gets the job done well. I highly recommend the TV app for Apple or Android TV.

We've been testing this with a small group in 2 office locations before rolling it out company-wide. We've all had issues with the app automatically updating when we enter/leave the geofence for either location. We thought this would be a great problem solver, but at this point I don't think we'll use it if it's not going to automatically update. So this is a great idea, but it needs work.

Update: they have really been adding to the features on the software. The last software update works great. It is much faster for large registry boards, and the programmers really responded well to suggestions. This is a great system.

Update: serious bug on the Android version that should just plain be fixed. I go to the app and it's spinning updating the status. While it's spinning it allows me to "sign in". (you'd think the program would remember me signing in) nope it updates my status to signed out, ignoring the sign in request. I have better things to do like starting work rather than standing out in the parking lot waiting for this to sync. This should be fixed immediately by remembering my input and applying it after the sync.

We use this for checking into and out of our space to create an emergency log we can then use during drills or real emergencies instead of a paper roster. It seems to be great, we use both the phone app and the tablet based log that is customized just for our office. My only complaint is it does not handle groups of say 20-50 people trying to check in or out at the same time very well. If your team is less than 10 people it should work fine. They should use check-out cart functionality and support more simultaneous log ins so people don't have to wait. Out paper log took seconds to get in and out, this new digital version takes several minutes when a large group are coming or going at the same time. On occasion that has gone as long as 10 minutes in and 10 minutes out waiting for the software to update or process. That shortens my lunch by 20 minutes wasted in line waiting for the software. When it can handle multiple transactions at once I will change my stars to 4 or 5.

This app almost solved a problem in our office I wasn't aware existed. I think there is a problem with Geofences where our wireless network is roughly the same size as the GPS radius around our office building. When you enter the range of our WiFi then during the change we sometimes have simple in/out doing the auto check in and it just says lost connection in the notifications. It's happened to a few people in the office. I imagine an auto retry after 5 minutes when connection is lost will fix it.

we are using this with our emergency service program & our people that have samsung galaxy 2 phones when you go to load board feature it takes forever to load compared to the i phone like extremely slow not worth instlling onsamsung2 for this application. Not willing to changing to i phone can you help,please reply
