About US Federal Holidays
This application lists all US Federal Holidays from the year 2012 to 2020. This is probably the only application you will need to plan for your vacation and holidays; also allows you to add the events to your Android Calendar.
Note that this application provides only list of Federal Holidays, so for e.g. - Easter is not mentioned in the list
Features -
* Application home page shows the next upcoming holiday and the number of days to it.
* Use list view to see all holidays in a year.
* Use month view to see holidays in a month.
* Swipe across the year view or month view to navigate between years / months or use navigation arrow to change year / month.
* Long tap on the event to add it to your Android Phone Calendar and set reminder.
These are the observed federal holidays which do not necessarily fall on the actual holiday; information regarding the holidays are accurate to the best of our knowledge. Please e-mail us with comments and suggestions and they will be included in future updates.

The widget doesn't show the holidays on the calendar, you have to go into a tab to pull holidays for the year inquiring. that's not helpful. it should show on calendar in widget mode.

I love that you can add the holiday to your android calendar. That is a definite plus & the main reason I picked this app over others. However, some sort of option to "add all" to your android calendar would be much more helpful. It takes too long having to add each one individually. Or even a check box to add several at a time. Add that & I'll change to 5 stars. And this IS an accurate calendar, showing Federal, not Actual, holidays! Read, people.

Independence day lands on the third of July in 2015? This is a calendar app right? Dates need to be right. No room for typos.

The dates are correct, for those thinking dates like independence day 2015 on July 3rd is a typo, it's correct & the date the government is listing as a holiday since the 4th is a Saturday.

A lot of people don't understand what a federal holiday is so let give an example valentines day not federal but christmas day is federal but not christmas eve.... so this is exactly what it says it is a federal holiday calendar

Missing Valentines day, St. Patrick's day, April fools day, Mothers day, Fathers day, Presidents day, daylight savings, Easter, Earth day, Halloween, Christmas eve, new years eve, Hanukkah....and probably more, but that was just off the top of my head.
