Simfony IoT Client

In order to test Simfony’s IoT platform functionalities, our customers needs to push data from their devices (sensors) towards the platform and then store, process, analyze or use this data to execute custom processes.

We provided an easy way to showcase the platform’s capabilities by developing the Simfony IoT Client application which can read sensor data from your smart phone (acceleration, position, light, etc. ) and send it over the Internet (mobile, WiFi), using the MQTT protocol, to Simfony’s data storage.

Our IoT platform provides authentication and authorization mechanisms as well as multiple means for collecting device data:

• directly from your devices ( MQTT/HTTP/WebSockets)
• pushed from existing storage environments (JSON/XML/DB)

Simfony’s data storage services can be used to store all or part of the data collected by your devices. Before it gets stored the data can be enhanced with meaningful information such as device specific attributes, time stamps or other information from external services.
Once the data is received by the service execution environment, the corresponding service logic is triggered.

An extremely easy to use web based tool with drag and drop functionalities, the Node-Red flow designer is where your service logic is born. Taking data or events from smart devices or any other remote component as input, the service flows will give our customers total flexibility when it comes to making decisions, storing data, triggering other events or devices and even getting in touch with people.

All data stored in Simfony’s cloud is available for retrieval and analysis over the Web GUI.
