SilverEdit Lite for Android
Free version has basic features disabled. Worthless to even try.
I could just use a notepad.
Seemed good for a while, but then started to freeze and hiccup. Eventually, it became unusable. Uninstalled.
Iam Giving Only 4 Stars Becoz The Graphics seems to Poor on Running Android 2.3.6 . I'll Give 5 in Fixed Upadate Else its wonderful Tool Tex warap is fine and works... good work
Fulfills the basic requirements of the user, it would much better application if preview option or help option would be provided to end user. Overall it deserve stars.
There are better editors for free.
buggy, regular improvement and updates, no undo, almost great.
On EVO froze trying to open an opera bookmark html file. Uninstalled
Can't even properly test the FTP connection ability as you can't download. -.- Extreme fail.
Not too good, needs some updates.
Unfortunate. It closes as soon as i open a file.
I would love it if you could add that for php.
The app is really good for making 'HTML',thanks a lot of.
I had trouble getting live and programs on demand on my tablet with BHTV until I downloaded this app its great I have a Google next book andriod
Most of the features I wanted to test are only in the paid for version. In the free version I could browse to FTP folders but not see any files. In PHP the tool bar has 'short cuts'. For example I see 2 curly braces but pressing the left one displays only the left brace! You type your code then have to remember to tap the right brace. One can use the Hackers Keyboard with all such symbols on the keyboard and so this feature is very weak. Nothing in the free version would induce me to get the paid version.
Neither mode opens all of large file on this phone yet. Tag insertion does look good. Phone status permission :-P. Webmaster Lite looks a bit better.
SE remains the best app for coding on the go by far.
Help doesn't display because it cannot find the page. I also see no way of executing php, so what's the point?
Almost there - editing code seemed to be alright, syntax highlighting is there. I tried using it for something and quickly discovered that the tab key brings me completely out of the text area. For a programming editor, this is a crippling problem. I'd give it 4 or 5 if it worked.
Great until your programs get large. Pro version will save you time.
It looks this is a great app but does not work properly. I download it and try to open the app and when I choose FTP it closes. Please fix as it looks to be a great app.
When use ftp, always crash.
This app is perfect. Runs smoothly, doesn't force close, and easy to use. For a free version of the app, it's awesome!
Useless, useless, useless
Some what useful ,but need better improved ui.
Its really great app, so helpful
FC when using copy/paste in editor using my Galaxy S on Froyo. Otherwise a great tool when you're stuck in a long line.
However, what dies the pro version get me?
It works for me. I use AndFTP for FTP.
But force closes when I try to use FTP.
Seemed good for a while, but then started to freeze and hiccup. Eventually, it became unusable. Uninstalled.
Unusable without physical keyboard, needs UI improvements.
Fc's while syntax highliting is on when opening php files. samsung i5700
Constantly force closes on Nexus 7.
Once support for multiple files is added (tabs allowing multiple file to be open at once) this will be perfect.
This is what i am looking for! It lets me to encode some tags for my webpage. I will call this a "Portable Text Editor" tnx for making this one.
meh had issues opening (resolved) and found a much better one [touchqode] from the related app section
Free version=LAME! I understand your reason but without Preview feature it's just a glorified TEXT EDITOR! You've defeated the whole point of ur app!
Some problems with this. A key reason I paid o it was the preview option, which doesn't wok

What a bunch of bullshit... Really. When are people going to learn no one wants to pay for apps. That's what ads are for... Dumbass
