Visual voicemail

What the heck. What is MetroPCS doing? What language is this? With hackers and stuff why not in english? I turned off the auto update. WISH I COULD UNINSTALL IT!!! But its for the visual or audio voicemail. Something I've never used & can live w/out. TAKE NOTE THE A/VOICE APP TURNS ON NOW. ALL THE TIME. NEVER DID BEFORE. SOMETHING SMELLS.

The first thing that needs to be understood about MetroPCS (PCS), and possibly other providers, who have sent this app to all of their customers, is that Klausner Technologies, Inc. filed a patent/copyright infringement lawsuit in Jan 2012. As a result, PCS needed to change the app that was originally used with their voicemail system. So, since most of the devices sold, by PCS, had the Visual VM app factory installed, all customers had (or will have) their phones updated with this app. Before I give my opinion on this app, I need to say that Google's web-translation helped me find this app's page on a laptop. Since I'm not a heavy VM user (I'm either answering the call, or the phone is off and individuals know why the phone is off), I haven't had major usage of the app.What I have used has resulted in my retaining, 13days so far, a VM message with sports ticket information that I had requested. I have not been able to find detailed information on how the app works (if I do, I'll need to have it translated from Hebrew to English), so I'm not sure how long the "Locked" setting on this message will last. So, since this feature is working well, I will give the app a friendly rating.

Certain apps that is not nesessary to keep should not be combined with any OS, OPERATING SYSTEMS APP. THAT CONTROLS THE MAIN FUNCTIONS ONY ANY AND ALL CELLPHONE MODELS AND WHAT WERE THE PACKAGE APPS.MGRS THINKING, LET ME TELL YOU, (THEY WEREN'T) SO PLEASE DESIGN AN OS APP THAT DOESN'T HAVE ANY JUNK APPS ATTACHED TO IT AND I THANKYOU!!!!!

Its a cool feature but wont shut off when i want it to. Keeps bugging me with error messages, and makes my phone "vulnerable to privacy issues?" wtf, I want it off, HOW DO I GET IT REMOVED? HELP?

But I find it useful. If you dont like it or other preinstalled apps root you device and uninstall it. My only complaint is that it dosnt get the words right half the time. Still so much faster than regular voicemail.

why make preinstalled apps that are optional & in this case non functional as well as foreign non removable? oh, so that the specs on internal memory can be misrepresentated & access to personal info granted unwillingly.? this is wrong. read the comments. obviously nobody's concerned with the customers wants, so who's are being taken in consideration? hmm... amd WHY? CROOKS!

How the heck did this magically become installed onto my phone without my acknowledgement is beyond me, and no option for uninstalling it? Are you seriously making me keep a foreign language app installed that I can't even use? This is B.S.

Why in the world do I need something I dont even understand. Why did metro pcs even install this app . How do you uninstall this garbage.

This is preinstalled on MetroPCS phones for "Visual Voicemail". It is bloatware and can only be uninstalled with root access on your phone.

My service is with Metro. If u use ur Visual Voicemail, U shouldn't try 2uninstall ur Orange app.(not in English) it's pre installed by them,like a lot of there apps u can't uninstall,they do it 4a reason Don't no y.Someone has the answers. I want to desperately give this 0 stars, because I see no use whatsoever in having this on my phone, especially if I never downloaded it either.

I know a lot of people including myself hate preinstalled apps but this one is great. Lets you read voicemail as a text. Calling in to check your voicemail is a pain. This works better than even aftermarket apps.

I don't even know what this is and why do yo need this when you have your very own telephone number and can simply DIAL your own voicemail? It's completely unneeded!

Takes up my precious limited app space now I can't even update the apps I want. Vvm should be an optional app (with only a link to install the full app) especially since it is not free on my plan. (Likewise Rhapsody).

This is ur visual vm ppl and when u agreed to have tht srvc on ur phone u agreed to install this app...its super convenient IMHO..quit freakn out about conspiracy theories n leaving one star ratings! Only reason four n not five stars is tht it takes awhile to register as visual vm even though I've already rcvd notification.
