Sign Language for Beginners

It's a pretty good app, gets the basic as across for the most part, but the illustrations could use some work. It's kinda hard to tell what's going on for some of the phrases/words (ex. Sunday). Also the way the pages are set - having to scroll around - is kinda a hassle

Its Amazing I dont know anyone deaf, and im not deaf. But this can help me just in case i can meet someone deaf i could talk and be friends with them. Not just that but i can help teach them sign if they don't know. My friend speaks sign, and I want to aswell.

TL;DR the content is ok, but it's not set up for easy use, and there's nothing to help teach you, it only tries to show you. There are no gifs showing how things are done; each page makes you scroll in both axes to see all of it. Still gonna keep it around, but I'd be hard pressed to learn from this.

Im not deaf and i dont know anyone that is deaf but you never know! I love this app only one problem....... the hands are kinda badly drawn and its kinda hard to see if your doing it right. But other than that its great!????

This apps are amazing because i will know how to communicate with my bestfriend and she can tell me everything now and we can talk everyday in videocall because she is far for me im in cabanatuan and she is in caloocan. And i badly miss her.

These are way old, unclear signs. Dont get learning even one old sign is to much and will ruin your conversation. I'm in training to be interpreter. I recommend making sure the app you choose uses ASL grammar not English grammar.

I love it nd learn sign language. I have a friend who use he's hand when we talk I couldn't understand wat he say.but now I know because of this app. Thanks

Somewhat confusing. Not sure what the BSL words are in a ASL app. Is BSL short for Basic Sign Language?

Contradicts itself... Has 2 different signs for husband and wife

It's quite nice and user friendly. As it has phrases as well it helps for one to get around. Can still be improved though with more phrases and more numbers.

Pictures aren't really clear on how to properly do the sign language. Don't fall for the other reviews or this app itself. (My opinion)

I never thought about learn sign language before . My aunt daughter has her BS degree in sign language so she called me and said let's learn how to use sign language on You tube so I down loaded it to my phone and I love it.

My mom is deaf and both my 2 sibling, my dad, and I can hear and I need to be able to communicate with her and back before I didn't know very much sign language.

Some of the drawings are cut off at the top out the bottom. They are also a little hard to understand.

Really helped me as a care taker, one kid doesn't talk and only uses sign language and it's very useful in understanding the kids with disabilities.

Not very helpful I already knew everything that was on the app it only had the very basics and it didn't show you how to do the signs well at all

Amazing app but thori se improvement ise wonder full bana de ge ... So peoples try it and company authorities plz improve it a bit ...

I think it's ok but the illustrations could use some work and I'm deaf or of one ear and I never know if I wake up and be deaf completely ​but I will take what I can get

I learned everything to the language with this app in under a couple of hours, I can greet people fluently and I'm fluent in its alphabet perfect app for people that want to learn it fast just look at it and memorize the most important things and your set! You guys are awesome and deserve these stars!!!! ;BTW if you say it's better to Google or anything like that your incredibly wrong because Google tells you how this app shows you. Also the app is universal but apparently some country's have their own kind

I'm actually glad that someone made this because my boyfriend is deaf & I'm hearing, it's kinda hard for me to communicate with him because he doesn't read lips, so this app is really great, it's been helping me to communicate with him better I'm glad to find something to help me with that. Thank you.

This app helped me so much. I had just went to my deaf aunt's house, and she is a translator, so I could understand exactly what she was saying all because of this app. Thank you so much for making this, this is very important to me.

It might say beginners but it not designed for babies so I love it! I also love the things you can do in the app! I've come so far in this app I already have 1 verdict and I haven't even started high school yet!

I always tried to learn via YouTube, but it was always hard nd way too fast. With this app i can set me own pace and do it anywhere at anytime. Thanks :-)!!!!!!!!

It's only pictures that look to be copied from a book. Decent vocabulary and phrases but live action is so much better IMO.

This one girl in Walmart she is death and me and my mother aways go to her because she inspires me I think it is cool that my mom can understand and communicate with her. I love it!Thank you!(She knows everything in the store )

I thought some of the signs were hard to learn from the pictures I also think that there should be more numbers or how to do them.

Totally recommend it. Very simple user interface, zoom images larger or smaller to learn letters, numbers, greetings, interrogatives, etc. Great for beginners such as myself.

I was inspired by the show switch at birth but It lead me to learn and know it, Im pretty good I think
