Export/save clip is a missing feature in app. Plenty of choice with rules on main pc software, need to try different rules to get notifications only when you want them even with the ability to recognise moving objects as people. Switch off HLS live streams in settings and the main video is quick, lower frame rate but fine for checking.

App not working , complex to navigate

I loaded the server software on a Mac Mini. The mobile app works great on local Wi-Fi. I had VPN for remote access and do not have to open up a port on my router

Please release a feature so I can use this across a range of properties

Great app and software.

Nice clean app. Well made . had someone " loitering" out the front of my house this morning and was able to see very quickly via app it was just a lady walking her dog. (she was out the front for more than 20 seconds as my rule was set like that). Needs sharing and arm disarm integration using phone location. Lots of opportunities for new features. Should enforce user names and passwords that work for remote access through this app.. Keep up the great work! Please bring smarter arm disarm functionality.

The preview windows work, the security footage works, but "camera view" just sits and annoyingly doesn't seem to do anything. Really annoying having to wait for it to do nothing in camera view before i can get to security footage. Updated:5 stars for extremely fast response.

After latest update I had to uninstall then reinstall and it worked.

After update app crashes whenever I try to look at clips from alerts

Every since they upgraded to 2.5 and above my cameras no longer connect. Also they want you to pay 100$ every year to upgrade to the latest version of the software.. Just not work it anymore.....

Had an issue and support responded very quickly so we resolved it. Can't ask for more than that. Excellent app. *Ensure you don't put a / after the location ip address and port number when you're setting it up or it crashes the app*

Please add Chromecast support

Using the PC version and Android app for few months and love both. Push notifications stopped working when upgraded Android to 5.1.1 from 4.4.4. Please fix it.

I'm using trial version on the pc and it's OK. Mobile version is OK too but camera view is not working. Wanted to buy the app for pc but it's too expensive for me. It was $30 before.

The problem is that this review is for the mobile side of things. It is unreasonably slow at the UX level. You'll get a notification that something was detected then wait 20 seconds for the clip to load even over a great wifi connection. Repeat for every clip in succession. I get a notification that someone's at my front door and by the time the stream actually loads, I see the car driving off. Want to see what's going on with all your cameras at once? Prepare to wait 30+ seconds. This is unreasonable for a service where security is concerned, and having used other software packages (e.g., SecuritySpy) I know it's isolated to Sighthound (the web interface is just as slow). Additionally, you cannot enable or disable rules, only cameras. This means unless you want all your security active, you cannot see camera streams. Sighthound stands out from the rest in the computer vision and machine intelligence, the guts of the software. So the platform itself is remarkable and does object / anomaly detection superbly. I'm a paid user and support their ongoing development. Their customer support and outreach is awesome. So it's with a lot of guilt, but honesty that I write this.

I am just so annoyed with how when i first got this for the inernet. I can just watch on the inernet being some where else now it wont even let me log on the inernet. So i download this app and its the same why wont log me on!!! I just want to know what is happening

I'm able to view live video, but clips won't pay on my LG G3. So if I get an alert, I can't view the video.

I have purcheced the basic version and the android client works fine but the draw back is that it need auto rotate and the ability to fix the rule to be fixed i alawys want to see people but every time when i close and start the application i have to go and chose people bec it return to display all objects thats bit annoying it should remmember my last choice and remain stick to it

Server not responding! This is all I get on full wifi connection. I'll just use Splashtop! Keep working on this guys!

Decent product but poor licensing model. $250 to have just three cameras is ridiculous, when two costs $60. Server really needs to be a service, not just a program that you have to start manually.

I really need the ability to enable and disable rules on the fly through the app. This is a major missing component for me. Though I've only been using it for a day, it seems pretty good so far other than that.

The app stopped working after my phone (LG G3) was updated to Android 5.0.1. The clips do not stream.. The operation timed up with a message "clip can not be loaded".

I can't view the live camera stream, even though I've setup remote admin and forwarded ports. I can view clips, but the camera's live stream simply says "connecting" and never works.

App picks and choose when to connect to cameras. Will not display full screen. Freezes constantly when turning cameras on and off. It never used to be this bad.

But, latest app update slowed down live streaming feeds. Now slower to load and stream is not smooth and current but studders and misses a lot.
