but this dev just releases apps & never ever ever ever updates them. this is my 3rd & my final purchase from this guy.

I HAD TO UNINSTALL DUE TO CONSTANTLY POPPING UP ON MY SCREEN! Every time I pick up my phone or barely move it the player side bar pops up and it mutes my touch screen. Touch no longer works with my s pen. I have to shake my phone to get it off the screen but it pops back up at the tiniest movement. 2017 still not working right.

If you could add blackplayer in the list of supported applications....That would be really helpful

I bought this needing a way to see and control music while using Waze GPS navigation in my car. This does a great job, it just needs an option to keep the song title text on the screen instead of fading away...

Works great. Would LOVE the option to move song meta, change fonts and have option to always display.

Wish you could custom it a little more. I was thinking rather than the middle of the screens being able to adjust it to either the top or bottom. Would make it easier for other apps. But it works great up to now. Just a note to others you can go into settings and disable other music apps. Makes it much easier to use without any confliction.

I purchased it, tried to set my music players according to the instructions, and it finally recognized Google play music as my default player, but the buttons do nothing. When I tried to get a refund, it was too late. #hatethis **UPDATE** Get a load of the rude response the developer left below.

Response time upon button press needs to be faster though.

Please don't purchase any apps from this DEV. He will say there will be continuous updates but he will not update the apps and he won't respond to your mails. This has happened to me with Sideplayer pro. Please be careful and stay away from this liyer.

I needed this app a year ago! Works great on my Nexus 7 for controlling my music playback without having to leave Google Maps Navigation.

So I bought the pro version and no gestures are working, and there's no way to activate Play. Is this a joke app? Because it's not funny.

Galaxy S4 AT&T - CyanogenMod 11 Player Pro Problems: Play/Pause does not pause, but rather skips.tracks Track Forward/Backward skips two songs in respective directions Other than not working, the concept, visual design, and integration are handled well. Will update review when working.

I had the free version it was working properly and decided to try the pro to have full access of the preferences, now I can't pause and play with the side bar please fix this...I was gonna give no star at all

Last update fixed the bugs, thanks Dev. 5 stars for a simple yet great app.

Not sure what happened since I wrote my original review, but now sideplayer plays stored music instead of Google Play. Even when I launch Google Play from the app, sideplayer will not control it. Always starts playing stored music. Original review: It interferes with a few other apps due to the location, but I figured out some workarounds and it's totally worth it.

Been on a custom ROM for a while, haven't been able to get this to work until now. Worth every penny no doubt!

I'm running the Moto X 4.4, the biggest thing that takes away a few stars are the reaction times of the buttons. With one tap of play, second and a half later it responds. Other than that, I like the customization of the app, the gestures, and the over all feel of it.

Even if I chose to open the app with shake option, it still continues to occupy allocated swipe area where i cannot use my home launcher properly. Other than that it's an awesome app.

Not all of the themes are working and pauses the track when I try to slide it back without touching the play button.

Was looking for something like this to have my media controls handy while using the GPS functionality in my car with the phone in the dock. Explored several options before settling on this one. I like the slide functionality and it looks pretty professional while remaining unobtrusive. However, there are just a couple things that bother me. First, I wanted to use it primarily with Google Music. First, the Play/Pause button would work, but the skip wouldn't until I uninstalled the default music app. Thankfully I was rooted and able to uninstall it, but can see that being a drawback for some users. Second, the theme selection is messed up and all seem to be one off in the menu. For example choosing "Retro Design" brings up "Pink Lady" while "Pink Lady" brings up "Drawing Style" and "Drawing Style" brings up "Circle Style" and so on. Third, I have had the play button stop refreshing between the play icon and the pause icon (i.e. the music is playing but the icon is set to "play" instead of "pause"). Resetting the app fixes it. Finally, the response is a bit slow, as there seems to be about a one second delay between pressing the button and the response. Looking forward 2 updates

Devs responded quickly and fixed the issues with poweramp this app is very convenience and makes playing my music fun thanks devs and keep up the good work.

Could you add Rhapsody usability, if possible?

Play button skips songs. Doesn't pause properly on power amp. Still needs work good concept

Not working on Walkman music app

Why can't I control the Google Play Music playing with this? It keeps controlling my native music player. No matter what I do to turn off the default music app it still only plays that. I can't get it to play Google Music for nothing. And I bought this assuming it was gonna work. Should have tested it first before.
