I mean, it's a School app. Not much is supposed to special and unique about it, but it is very useful to know events you may not know of. For example, knowing when FROSTY starts and when Exams end. It does what it's supposed to do and I like that.

There should be a quick acess to mygradebook and a selective notifications for YOUR GRADEEEE

I have the Moto X Play and when I change to a different language that uses letters outside of the English alphabet, the text translates into a weird computer language. So languages like chinese or Arabic cannot be read

The app is nice, it's a really great way to keep on top of things at Ross! Although, as a developer, I have a few questions/complaints which brought it down to 1 star :( (I don't want to come across as rude, I'm simply giving my explanation on how things could be improved) First of all: Why are a lot of the sections webpages? It looks pretty bad, sorry. Consider using the provided API of a service, such as Engrade, instead of throwing a page into a web view and calling it an app. Also: -The loading icon is broken (it's a square with an icon inside of it, consider making the blue square transparent) -On Engrade your app does not request the mobile version of the site and therefore loads the desktop version which is not made for small screens -When you click an event on the calendar it doesn't actually do anything except load that frame inside of another view (no extra information, no reason to be able to click it). The calendar is nice, though. -Please add better support for material design. You can call setNavigationBarColor() and setStatusBarColor() respectively on API >= 21, which is a nice touch.

John F Ross has an app which is nice, however there are a few problems with it. Some buttons don't have touch feedback. Also, the translation to other languages sucks (because it seems to be using Google translate). Other than the English, I tried the Chinese interface, getting Google translation in the main page and garbled text when I tapped a random link. Consider using Unicode (UTF-8) encoding for webpages in order to display all the languages correctly. The map is just Google maps instead of the John F Ross. However, this is just the initial release of this app, and I believe it will get better in the future.

This app is trash. I opened up the alerts tab and the notifications switched themselves.
