Shutterfly Share Sites

It works to upload photos from my android phone to a shutterfly group created by someone else after a trip. Easy to select and fast to upload. From my phone I can't reorder photos or select photo for my "album", or add captions, or edit photos. No message function. Can't see email addresses of other members of the group. It's just a delivery system to add photos. I must use the full version from a computer to do everything else.

The iso version is way different than the Android! If you are using this for team sports and you have android you will not have the "sign up" or get all the conversation portion of the app that iso has. My child got left out of activities because I didnt get the notification on the android version. Big disadvantage. I have no idea why they would creat an app so different that doesn't even have the same options as ios.

It should just have everything the full website does. I can't edit recurring events at once. The app needs work, but it is still useful since it is easy to send a group message. As if sending an email or group text isn't just as easy though. I find myself going to the website in desktop mode in Firefox just to get anything done.

Terrible compared to iOS app or even the website version. The whole point of the app is so you don't need the website. All functions of the website should be in the app, otherwise why have an app? Suggest Google monitor the apps and not allow them on the play store if it looks like a high school student created it. Shutterfly sites should be ashamed of themselves for publishing this crappy app.

The Android version is so basic. Doesn't have any of the functionality you find on the I-OS version or desktop. It constantly freezes when trying to read messages. To the point that I just go online ....kinda useless. Please update!

Android version needs so much help. I keep expecting it to be as good as Apple version but it just isn't. Why have you not put any time to improve the android version? Crashes, slow, photos always stall in upload unless I do one at a time (and even then sometimes), very limited features as compared to desktop and Apple.

using for classmom for a classroom, can't do the same as website. I am unable to manage the site. can't access signup sheets, unable to email parents. it is basically for photo viewing. but makes no sense to have app if you have to go to site directly for everything else.

I'd like to ask the developer a question. Can you access the availability feature from an android Right now I have to go on my laptop to access this feature. This is one of the most important features for me and it is less time consuming if I can access the feature from my phone. This is the only problem I have with the site.

I enjoy this app using an iPhone. It's truly an amazing tool to keep up with team sports. Now I have an android and I'm not so happy. I can't add emails or update profile pictures. I'm not seeing the txt feature for quick mass communication to cell phones.

Works but not well. An excuse to get you to upload photos to Shutterfly. Don't waste your time with it - use TeamSnap or Dick's Team Sports HQ.

I think this android app needs more features. Web has tons of features and this app doesn't even have 1/3 of those feature. Ridiculous that this app has not changed much in the last few years!!

It's disappointing. Can only use to see the Calendar, add to it or see and share pictures. There's no Availability nor Snack or Volunteer functionality on the app. It doesn't compete with TeamSnap or other team /group managing apps.

Dislike the app. I would love to have the calendar open up to today's event instead of returning to the start of the month. And I can't update our availability or check which teammate is also attending.

This app takes me FIVE steps on my android phone to upload ONE single photo to a share site album. ZERO option to share a series of photos directly from my phones gallery. ZERO options to select a series of photos to share to an album from within the share site app itself. Clearly shutterfly/the app developers could care less about whether us users are happy. Clearly none of them actually use their own apps either or they'd see what a nightmare it is to use. One single photo upload takes me FIVE steps. That.Is.Unacceptable!

This app sucks as a team site. It doesn't send emails to everyone, bounces many and customer service (which is in India and lousy) says they know its a problem and no eta (you are trying to get information to parents and no eta?). New tabs added won't show up on my phone. If I had to do it again, I wouldn't.

App freezes frequently when trying to load photos. It has extremely limited capabilities. I'd have been better off if they hadn't made an Android version because this one is no good. I have to go to computer to upload pictures after many failed attempts on my phone. Could be a great tool but is not. Disappointed.

This app doesn't do much other than crash. Poorly implemented, not many options for Android users wanting to use Shutterfly Share Sites.

The Android app only can do a fraction of what the full site or (from what I've heard) the iPhone app. It's only minimally useful to me and I still find myself needing to log in to the full online site to get most of my info or update properly. Very disappointing for a Coach trying to streamline communication!

It only lets me add photos from the folder it chooses... i want to add photos from a different folder on my phone but there's no where to change where it pulls from at all. Very frustrating. Not useful at all.

Great app use it for all my kids sports teams I have 3 son's in year round sports. Just wish I could have the app send text messages as well as emails. Wish it has same features as iPhone

It's very frustrating trying to upload photos. It shows that it's starting to do so but doesn't finish and I have to start all over. It's about luck to get to upload any pictures. It used to work fine but not anymore.

Photos in preview are squashed and not pleasing to the eye. Functionality is very basic, cannot do organization with the app. App feels rushed and haphazardly developed.

Save your frustration and find another messaging system if you intend to use the app frequently. They have invested all of their efforts in the iOS app and seemingly none on the Droid version. I am the admin of a A butterfly Share site and have used its iOS app for over a year without a problem... But this isn't the case with the Android app. It does not allow for use of the messaging system via the app whatsoever- it gives an error message each time I want to view or send messages. Disappointing and not functional.

Does not give all the info that is on the actual website. So I can not access any of the sign up sheets on the go...have to have a computer. Needs lots of work!

This app should have the same functionality as iOS user. We Android lovers should not have to suffer when Android is one of the elite brand's. TeamSnap works the same on both platforms and I believe you can do the same for this app.

Very frustrating that I can't use this app to update player attendance. Many features my wife can use on her iOS version that I can't use on Android.

I can see only a tiny fraction of what I can see on the webpage. Like the tiniest amount. None of the teacher messages show anywhere on the app. Awful and pointless.

Why is app different from what I can see on the actual web site. It's not very user friendly.

If you were just a general user, this is a good app. I am an admin for a team and this app doesn't do enough to make it worth my while to use it. Still have to go to the desktop site to make most changes.

I cannot get the the messages section of the ap on my Android devices. The ap shuts down each time I've tried. Extremely frustrating because this is the most important feature for me

Hated it. Have to click on each day to read what event is happening unlike the iPhone version that is MUCH more user friendly. Also do not see a way to add to my calendar like the iPhone version.

My friend tried to add a different email address for me to her members roster and it doesn't show up. And she can't delete the incorrect one. Not good.

I do not like the version of this. I use to have an iPhone and that one was simple. I can't text from this one, send emails and the calendar is so messed up!!!

Had no troubles with the ios version the android version however is awful! Can't see any sign-ups/ volunteer menu. Not even half of what ios can do.

2017-05-21 What's going on with this app? I added folders and albums while logged into desktop. Went to phone app, not there. Uninstalled/reinstalled. Not there. Now only displaying my share sites. NO ALBUMS. NO FOLDERS! I restarted phone. Still not there. Please ADDRESS AND FIX!!

Two stars because it's missing core features like Message Board, Snack Schedule, News, and Photos for those that care. I can't say I'll use it much other than to quickly look at the calendar as it loads quicker than logging in to the web version on Chrome.

Missing the features of the website. I downloaded to keep in touch with my group but what's the point if the information is not the and only confuses the communication. Either make it in line and better than website or don't offer the app!!

I am very disappointed in the Android app for Shutterfly. We use the website for our school webpages and the iPhone app is much better than the android app. Please work on developing the Android app to be in line with the iPhone app.

Lousy. Pointless. Useless. Operates nothing like the website, which is very useful. Uninstalling and will just log in to the website.
