Dive Log for Android
Excellent app - I use it on my Note 5 with no problems at all. I particularly like the statistics feature which illustrates in detail the variety of the dives you have done. You can keep a good backup on the SD card, which you can then transfer in a variety of ways onto other tablets, computers, or into programs eg MS Excel. I highly recommend this particular app, especially as I have tried several other dive logs which came no where near the simplicity of use, clean function, and versatility of this logbook. This app is not perfect by any means, but if you just want a quick, clean record of your dives with a backup, and no hassles of registering with various sites, faffing around on the cloud, or making things too complex, then this is the app for you. Please note you only have 5 free logs before you have to pay to get the full functionality of this app. The developer should perhaps make this very clear from the outset as people get quite irritated if something they think is free turns out not to really be so - false pretences and all that. However the full app is in my opinion worth every penny of the small fee. A great simple dive log.
I had just input a few of my dives info into the app. It works well... It will be good if it had a 'sync' function so I do not need to copy the backup files to 'cloud'. Another thing missing here is the lack of an option to upload an unforgettable/memorable picture of each dive... Please consider this..,
First thing, you need to go into the menu to be able to enable editing..... I couldn't find any menu option! The second thing is that it claims to be free but it is only the first 5 dive logs that are free, seeing as I am a trainee instructor and dive 2-4 times a day it's not much use to me. Not an app that I would use or recommend.!!!!!
Doesn't mention anywhere u have the pay til u've wasted ur time filling up a bunch of logs
Limited number of dives before purchase is required

Interfaces with my atomic cobalt dive computer. Nice to have my dive history and C card information in my pocket

You can only log 5 dives before being asked to pay. Why not just be honest from the outset and say this is a pay-for app?
It needs to allow you to transfer your dive from my phone to tablet (downloading to sd card and uploading hasen't worked yet)
I have used Dive Log and I would like to transfer my logs to DiveMate, but it can import .csv and .log files. It would be great if you could work out how to import them. Thank you
Still waiting on that big update the dev said he was working on .. like making it friendly for sidemount divers ..
Been using this since 2011. Had issue with figuring out how to move the database from my old phone to my new phone and Rob emailed me with helpful info right away. If you're like me and can't keep track of a logbook then this way is much better. I looked at other options before I chose this one and I'm glad I did. Once you commit to storing your info in a database it's nice to know that the people behind it will support their product. Highly recommended.
Few minor, picky niggles (let's be honest folks, App designers can't please all of the people all of the time!) but overall it's still one of my most frequently used and favorite Apps.

I like the layout and easy to use. I would love to be able to printout my dives so I could have a hardcopy incase something happened to my tablet.
Kevin, I've had to do a few factory resets with my phone, you have to install dive long normally (unregistered and then install the key) they'll link together and it'll work. I really like the app, only 2 things I would want to change/add. The pictures like everyone has mentioned, and the ability to enter data into a computer and then sync it with the app.
I got the ICS upgrade, and had to reinstall the app. Now my logs are all gone.
Great app and awesome support. Rob really takes the time to respond to his users.
Dive log on your thumbs

It is a very good app but the claim it is for free is untrue. It does not take more than 5 logs and will not accept the 6th until the app is upgraded, which was not available on Android Market! !!!!!
Great app, highly recomended. Had a small issue when first tryed to use on my tablet but the designer help me solve this problem quickly and easily. Could not ask for more than that. The cost of the full version is the best available for what you get. Looking forward to future versions of this app.
Recently did a factory refresh, now the key says it isn't compatible with my Droid incredible. Will fix rating when this problem is fixed, but app is basically useless to me right now. Wonderful app. Would be great if you added tables or even better the eRDP electronic table calculator. Also let a range be entered for visibility.
Great App. Does exactly what it is supposed to do. A great way to keep all Dive information together. Love the mapping feature. Some suggestions for future updates - equipment (being able to add extra equipment used, etc). Also some customisable fields. The ability to link photos to the individual log entries would also be great. These additions would take it from being a great app to an unbelievable app. Needed in every divers bag of tricks......
I've just begun diving so I don't have many dives in my log yet. But I noticed that I prefer imperial units for everything except temperature. Can this be an option?
Frankly, I paid for this app, cuz it is trial version.
Simple and straightforward, great app. Use it to keep c-card, and show logs to complement my paper log book when diving. Love that it maps my dive locations. Really need the ability to attach photos to the dive logs for dive shop stamps, or even a photo of my paper log.
Only 2 things would make this much better for me (and my friends) to use: allowing a mix of metric and imperial (eg: celcius, pounds, psi, meters), and being able to select the fields to display.
For 5 stars it would need an option to attach dive photos, divemaster signatures and dc stamps (via attaching photos would be fine), cloud sync for multiple devices and some minor corrections should be made to dive info entry interface. otherwise very good and useful.
I would willingly pay for this type of app, but to say it is free and not mention you have to pay after 5 dives is wrong. Also hard to find sites. Uninstalled and on my black list of apps

The App is ok, but there are too many gaps to be realy usable. - When entering certification the place for pictures canot be filled directly with the camera. An the rendering of the pics is awfull (Image ratio is not maitained). - When you are on a dive site there is no way to press a button to locate it with GPS and capture the location. - The form for each dive is filled with details - The way to capture the deco is very painful - Finalyy the limitations of the free version does not encourage me to go to the paid one. 5 dives max, I dive 10 time is a week... a bit useless. For all these reasons I remove it from my apps collection
Great looking basic Dive logging application. It can be used connected to internet, but also without direct link/network availability. I have a short wishlist, but I would recommend the application now for what it is worth... a great tool. (Extra things are ... extra, not needed.)
This is a wonderful app that does everything I need. There is one feature I would like and that is a signature area. I use a nexus 7 tab and it would be absolutely perfect if I could get signatures.
I was a little hesitant, but I decided to purchase full version and glad I did. This app is great, it tracks everything you need and the paid version adds a feature that tracks a multitude of statistics. Highly recommended for those who want to track more than the basic info.

Just spent 30mins going through my log to put on phone for ease of access.. turns out you can only log 5 dives before having to pay.. bit of a scam really
