About SMS Listen
When you receive short messages, the SMS Listen can give you a reading out, read the sender and the message content. It can also list and read received messages. And can also report the caller of incoming phone call.
While driving, walking or hands are not free, it gives great convenience to you. Especially it increase the driving safety when short messages received.
When speaking text messages, you can immediately stop speaking when it's not convenient or you do not want to hear.
Auto SMS reading can be turned on or off. Delay time can be set to avoid ring voice conflict.
Seven languages are supported by default: American English, British English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Chinese. Other language is also supported if it's supported by system speech engine.
(For Android 2.1+)If your language is not default supported, or you want to change voice quality, you can find and download SVOX language pack in the list: Arabic, Czech, Danish, German, Greek, UK English, US English, European Spanish, Mexican Spanish, Finnish, Canadian French, French, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Dutch, Norwegian, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Portuguese, Russian, Swedish, Turkish, Cantonese, Mandarin.
Some new features need to be activated using "Points" or by payment. "Points" can be acquired for free.
These features including:
Flip screen down stopping: Providing flip screen down stopping option when reading message.
Shake stopping: Providing shake stopping option when reading message.
Turn on with bluetooth: Can turn on auto reading when bluetooth connected.
Auto reading time setting: Can set time ranges for reading or for no reading.
Widget: Open and close functions on home screen.
Ads removal: Remove ads in this app.

I do not have to put my glasses on to read my texts anymore. My text come across through my bluetooth and comes across the speaker. I have worried about an improper message coming across as a text and being read aloud, but that has not happened yet. Texts are still marked as unread, so i can't miss a message. Works great on droid turbo

I have been a very satisfied user of SMS listen for four years. It works extremely well on my phone. I also use SMS on other Android devices. It does not work on other Android devices. The SMS app I used is my sms and it allows me to access my messages from any device. It would be nice to have this app available on other devices.

It would be much better if the program recognized when you are on a call and waited to read a text that happened to come in while on that call. All you get is your client being talked over by a computer voice! Not good for a very busy person.

Great app. Installed seamlessly. Worked from the very beginning. If you can not hear it either you are deaf, phone volume is down, or the out side noise is to loud. for that I use a blue tooth head set and it is great. I highly recommend this app

When I change phones I always look for this one. The only thing I don't like about it is when you have your Bluetooth connected it still reads caller name thru the phone also. So everyone knows who is calling you. Other than that works wonderful. I also wish it had for other languages.

Paid to remove ads from the APP. The widget looks good, but what features does it add?? Still have ads. Some if them are antivirus scare scams. If I could give it -5 stars I would.
