Natuur in Nederland

Met deze app kun je de Nederlandse natuur van dichtbij zien, horen, ruiken en beleven.

Download een of meer wandelingen of fietstochten, rijd naar het startpunt en begin je reis door de mooiste landschappen van Nederland. Iedere tocht is bereikbaar met de trein of bus.

De wandelingen en fiets- en kanotochten waarop het boek Natuur in Nederland is gebaseerd, kun je met de NiN app eenvoudig zelf maken. Op deze manier kun je de natuur op deze routes zien, horen, ruiken en beleven. Tezamen geven de routes een mooi overzicht van de Nederlandse natuur. Je hebt het boek niet nodig om de app en de routes te verkennen, maar het is zeker een aanrader.

Je kunt de routes kiezen uit de tien verschillende landschappen die we in ons land kennen en in het boek worden besproken. Je kunt ook de kaart van Nederland bekijken om te zien welke route in de buurt is of je kiest uit wandel-, fiets- en vaarroutes.

Download de route van je keuze bij voorkeur op een wifi verbinding of als je een goede 3G-verbinding hebt, zodat je buiten in de natuur niet afhankelijk bent van een internetverbinding. De routes zijn namelijk per stuk zo'n 7mb groot. Nadat de route is gedownload, is deze offline beschikbaar in de app en te vinden onder de tab Downloads.

De NiN app voert je met de GPS van je mobiele telefoon, een overzichtelijk kaartje en een routebeschrijving langs de punten waar je iets moois te zien kunt krijgen. Per punt wordt een korte toelichting gegeven, waar nodig aangevuld met vogelgeluiden die je hier kunt horen en afbeeldingen van de belangrijkste plantensoorten.

Op dit moment staan er 7 wandel- en fietsroutes in de app verspreidt over Nederland. In de toekomst zullen ook de andere routes uit het boek worden toegevoegd. Kijk daarom regelmatig terug in de tab 'Beschikbaar' om te zien of er nieuw materiaal beschikbaar is.

The walks and bike and canoe trips on which the book Nature in the Netherlands is based, you can use the NiN app easily yourself. This way you can see the nature of these routes see, hear, smell and experience. Together, the routes a nice overview of the Dutch countryside.
