Golfshot: Golf GPS + Tee Times

Good App. A couple of improvements needed to be competitive with SbS in function and cost. Needs to account for and display terrain elevation and winds. Yardage updates are slow to stabilize. When starting on any hole other than #1 the app doesn't continue smoothly to #1 after #18. The flyover feature is marginally useful. Club recommendations are usually off by 2 to 3 clubs. Calculating wind effects and elevation differences would improve this feature.

On my Samsung it sucks. I dont have most of the features my husband has on his iPhone, and the distances to green are all over the place so I am never sure what the real distance is -- I have to ask him the distance on each shot. I have been told it is going to be upgraded. In the meantime, it is Totally worthless.

Awesome app. Have over 500 rounds in so far. Stats are great, scorekeeping is quick and easy. Only complaint is that you're limited to a foursome. Also glad you can play for skins and other games. Website also shows all games played. Well worth the money. Would buy again.

I've had Golfshot for over 4 years and use it every round. Can mess up once in a while. Be sure to give the GPS sufficient time to settle on the correct yardage. Not the most accurate GPS out there, but I love the access to stats and handicap tracking.

App won't download properly. Left-hand side is missing course info and it refuses to allow me to score stableford points, only stroke play.

Keep detail scores that can be reviewed later to improve the weakness in the game.

It's great...accurate and functional. Would be a 6* if it supported Samsung Gear S3 too!!

This is a great app in many ways, but there are a couple of let downs: 1) the price is too much now, a lot of free apps are offering the same services. 2) the mapping seems to be better and clearer, directly using Google maps, on other apps. Not saying it's bad at all....I like it alot...but I think some work is required to get it back ahead of the competition

Compared to other apps, it takes longer to enter details. Club tracking is difficult. The fact that it does not track chip shots and the club used is a major flaw. When a shot is missed, you can only track missed long, short, left or right. From a statistical perspective it is important to track a shot missed short left, or long right. Once a hole is played and data entered, it would be nice to edit the club, distance, shot shape, etc. This you can't do. The app should also automatically move to the next hole. In other words, screen touch should be minimized, otherwise you spend more time on the phone than playing golf. Given that there are free apps that do these things well, its really difficult to use this app even though I have had it for years.

Best golf app I've used. Simple layout, easy to use and complete stats if you like to break it down and analyse different aspects of your game. As always depends on how thorough you are when you enter your data

Great app. I have had it for years. Last few months get a regular message that it's a weak GPS signal. Never had that in the last 7 years. It's the same places I've always played.

This app does a great job making stat tracking easy. That, coupled with Android wear integration, make for a must-have experience.

Used this app for years from iPhone to android. Very good app. Very useful for plotting your way around a course you've never played before.

only thing missing is the ability to enter fairways hit, penalties and select tee club from smartwatches.

A real shot saver especially when you're on the wrong fairway.
