Fishing Trip Log

The Fishing Trip Log is a MajorForms android application that allows you to track and document your fishing trip incorporating images, video, audio recordings, and/or text. It also allows you to track (with GPS) all or parts of your trip and enables the data to be synchronized to a free website created by you to store, edit, and/or share your trip with others. You can also allow family and friends to view your fishing during or after your trip by sharing it through your website, Facebook or Google+, Twitter, Linkedin, e-mail, etc. Once the fishing trip is uploaded to your website, you can edit the data, create reports and/or maps, and download the data or reports to spreadsheets or other documents. You do not need to have access to the internet to run the application, but if you do, you can upload your data and preserve it. In addition, the application comes with tools such as weather documentation which records the temperature, pressure, humidity, wind direction, etc. for each event. There is also a theodolite that enables you to determine distance to points of interest. The application now automatically documents the weather for each event. Give it a try, it is free. Track your trip via constant GPS readings. Track unlimited paths within each fishing trip (for example, your trip broken down into tracks for each day) and have each track/path displayed on a map in different colors.

Share your trip instantaneously with your friends and family with the ability to post all your GPS tracks and media on any of an almost unlimited number of social websites or communicate information via e-mail, Skype, and other IM systems.

Create your own free website to share your trip with others in real time. The website includes a gallery of your videos and images along with standard Google maps with tracks and pins representing events.

Don't worry about the loss of any media, data, or memories. The Fishing Trip Log application automatically synchronizes your data in the background in our database and, if desired, your website, effectively backing up your data for later use.

Once you return from your trip, the memories collected can be downloaded to a spreadsheet, powerpoint, or other documents. You can also extensively filter the information to hone in on certain aspects of your trip.

If others are on your trip with you, they can add their own events, media and data, through their smartphones or tablets, to each event if you choose to share your username with them. All smartphones and tablets will be instantaneously updated with the shared information through the Hunter's Log application and include all the collected information on your website.
