Moola

Used to like it, but it seems to no longer work. I've used it for quite some time now, and it's easy and straightforward to use. But as of February 17, 2017, my receipts seem to be permanently "Processing". I have tried uninstalling reinstalling to no avail. I have 4.1.2. OS (max upgrade for my device). I have written from my regular e-mail, but received no reply so far. Help me, App Developer Kenobi! You're my only hope!

App rejects receipts due to unclear picture. Which is absolutely not true. As i am taking picture it looks perfect. After about a week i get a notice that it was not clear. Bottom line this app either rigged to collect info from receipts without rewarding users or it is simply a fraud or maybe they have serious tech problems. Will not use until fixed.

Everytime I upload a receipt it states invalid upload. My store prints my perks info at the bottom of every receipt, info which you do not need to know. I fold my receipts so that info does not show. If this is not the problem, them please let me know. Loosing out on time and money.

I uploaded 7 receipts and not they are unapproved because the images are blurry. Impossible since I saw them after uploading them...big ripoff...try receiptpal and receipthog and shopprize...already got paid 3 times through shopprize...

As of the end of feb. 2017 app has quit processing receipts. Believe app may now be completely abandoned by developers, since i have not received a reply email about the issue. Now its april think app is completely defunct. DO NOT BOTHER DOWNLOADING.

EDIT: I've changed my mind. The app is starting to grow on me. It's not made very clear, but Moola actually ONLY accepts GROCERY receipts, and any NON-GROCERY items may (inconsistently) disqualify a receipt. I haven't learned all the ins and outs, since they're not elaborated on at all in the Terms. Apparently 1,000 points is $5, and I earn about 10/15 points per $5-$99 spent ON GROCERIES. Five stars just to bump its rating from being so low. But they should be clearer on what is accepted. PRE-EDIT:Haven't approved my receipts yet...hopefully if their rating goes up they'll snap into action. Haven't seen a problem yet. I say give em a chance.

Listen to the review gave them a shot only accepted walmart out of all my receipt okay my bad. But only to reject walmart from a different day don't have time to rescan them cause they cant keep their story straight

They do pay out with gift cards, but a lot of my grocery receipts get rejected when they shouldn't be. I personally have not found an easy solution to alert them of receipts that are improperly marked by Moola. That contributes to the low score.

So I have taken pictures of current grocery receipts and it's been 2 weeks and I have received no points and what is the deal on putting in a survey code? I am Uninstalling this, it's a waste of my time!

Heck i just guess and hope im far enough away to snap the reciepts please fix

I put in receipts and i am still waiting for them to be approved

Can't get a picture to take. No matter what picture gets blurry or screen gets different colors where picture should be.

For the past month all my receipts have been unapproved because it says its blurry but they aren't when i submit them it makes no since.

this app seems simple, I scan receipts, they are crystal clear, hit submit, they do something funny, turn side ways, get real small and VERY blurry! No customer service contact info, I've read peoples reviews and the replies, talking about camera settings, I tried adjusting that, took auto focus off, scanned receipt again, STILL SAME PROBLEM! There's plenty of other apps avail that actually WORK! Don't bother with this one!

Ok so all the other apps I have that takes pics with the camera aren't having the issue.. I downloaded this app tonight and went to take a pic of a receipt and it snapped the pic but it froze and wouldn't go any further. My camera is up to date and my device isn't modified in any way. Can you help please and thank you?! :)

Every time I try to take a photo of my receipt it stops and freezes. The only receipt I got to scan was unapproved...but why? No explanatory reason...it was a Walgreens. I just uninstalled...too many other rebate apps out there with no issues.

Receipt scanner won't work

You need to put a list of what grocery stores you accept as your app refuses to accept the only grocery store within 60 miles of me. No response means yall don't care about your users. Since i waited 2 months last review with no reply. Also I am starting a list of things that you say are not grocey items. Pecan nuts, water flavors, water, bread, ice cream

Doesn't seem to be taking submissions anymore.

I have earned nearly 1200 points and now no awards are available. MANY receipts are rejected with no clear explanation. If I buy groceries at Target it appears to be rejected if I have just one non-grocery item on the receipt. They are collecting our receipt data but giving nothing in return.

Completely unsure what is expected receipt wise. Out of 5 receipts I'm lucky if one is accepted

Great app.

They reject reciepts and there is no way to dispute it. Also you earn enough points for a reward but there are no rewards to claim.

Useless unfortunately. Tried 50 odd receipts from various grocery stores, restaurants, shops, etc. Even Burger King, which they show as being a challenge. None approved. Support is prompt but no point if nothing is valid.

I upload receipts and it takes my points. It is a big rip off. I went from lost over 40 points in no time.

I like the ease of this app but when i take a pic of my receipt it's crystal clear and then when i look at the image, it's extremely blurry. I've had one receipt rejected because of this. I'm waiting to see if it happens again. I would give more stars if this wasn't a problem. I think it needs an update.
