২০১৭ সালের ছুটির তালিকা

নতুন বছরে মোট ২২ দিন সরকারি ছুটি ভোগ করবে বাংলাদেশ। এর মধ্যে ১০ দিনই পড়েছে সাপ্তাহিক ছুটির দিন শুক্র-শনিবারে।


নতুন বছরের জন্য ১৪ দিন সাধারণ ছুটি এবং নির্বাহী আদেশে আট দিন সরকারি ছুটি মিলিয়ে মোট ২২ দিন ছুটি থাকবে।

জাতীয় দিবস ও বিভিন্ন সম্প্রদায়ের গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ধর্মীয় অনুষ্ঠান মিলিয়ে ২০১৭ সালে সাধারণ ছুটি ১৪ দিন, এসব ছুটির মধ্যে ছয়টি পড়েছে শুক্র-শনিবারে।

এছাড়া বাংলা নববর্ষ ও বিভিন্ন গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ধর্মীয় দিবস উপলক্ষে নির্বাহী আদেশে আট দিন সরকারি ছুটি থাকবে। এরমধ্যে শুক্রবার চারটি ছুটি পড়েছে। বিভিন্ন সম্প্রদায়ভুক্ত কর্মচারীদের ধর্মীয় পর্ব উপলক্ষে এবারও তিন দিন ঐচ্ছিক ছুটি রাখা হয়েছে।

এর বাইরে পাবর্ত্য এলাকা বা এর বাইরে কর্মরত ক্ষুদ্র নৃ-গোষ্ঠীর জন্য প্রধান সামাজিক উৎসব বৈসাবি উপলক্ষে দুই দিন ছুটি রাখা হয়েছে। এরমধ্যে একদিন সাপ্তাহিক ছুটি রয়ে গেছে।

সাপ্তাহিক ছুটি বাদে ২০১৬ সালে ২২ দিন সরকারি ছুটি ছিল, যার চার দিনের ছুটি পড়েছিল সাপ্তাহিক ছুটির দিনে।

যেসব অফিসের সময়সূচি ও ছুটি তাদের নিজস্ব আইন-কানুন দিয়ে নিয়ন্ত্রিত হয় বা সেসব অফিস, সংস্থা ও প্রতিষ্ঠানের চাকরি সরকার কর্তৃক অত্যাবশ্যক হিসেবে ঘোষণা করা হয়েছে সেসব অফিসগুলোকে নিজস্ব আইন অনুযায়ী জনস্বার্থ বিবেচনা করে ছুটি ঘোষণা করতে বলা হয়েছে। Twenty-two-day public holiday in Bangladesh will enjoy the new year.
