Some misinformers are implying that this app presents research that was "debunked decades ago". Bull. It even contains RECENT research that backs up the same OLD studies which Oil Companies have misinformed their believers by conflating terms & not accurately defining the data, saying they had been debunked, despite new evidence being in conformity with older research. If the research & data is consistent, that should be a no-brainer! China is the biggest culprit! Call for intense energy reform in China!

I havent had a chance to use it against anyone but my Dad is a huge climate change denier and strangely well educated and generally intelligent (though 74). He seems to find evidense supporting his views and me not being a scientist find it hard to combat him on specific points when in the moment. Hope this can rectify that, its exactly what i need.

It is just filled with essays within the spectrum of global warming arguments... Most papers have been discredited and/or found to skew data in favor of their beliefs. I am too skeptic to keep this app on my phone. See what I did there?

You never know when you're going to have to back your opinions up with cold, hard facts.

It seems impossible to simply get the facts on climate change, and this source has a heavy bias in favour of "climate change is real and it's human made". A lot more scepticism is required about both sides of the argument, and it would be nice to see the NIPCC positions against the IPCC reports challenged in a forensic manner. Maybe the site will evolve into something truly sceptical, but life is too short to wait for it. Uninstalled.

Though disappointing to see the very same nonsense this app debunks spouted in the reviews... Seems arguments and facts can not compete with wilful ignorance.

Mark Twain once quipped that a lie is nearly halfway around the world before the truth has had a chance to put it's pants on. So too when combatting the myriad of skeptic claims which don't stack up to scientific scrutiny, it takes time to find the scientific sources. This handy little application links to the peer reviewed literature to give you the ammo you need in a timely fashion.

Next time your local Fox "News" blowhard starts "explaining" why climate change is a myth, this app will ensure that you have facts instead of opinion right at your fingertips. Well organized and easy to use.

Great app that does a public service countering the endless stream of fossil fuel funded misinformation, but it needs the "News" feature found on the iphone version and move to SD.

Works well for quick reference, but also has in-depth explanations and references. The negative feedback (one star ratings) for this app seem to be based on ideology. It reflects how mad it makes global warming deniers when they are faced with counterarguments based on facts. Spread the word.

Lots of timely information, but the tablet support is desperately needed. Running it on a Toshiba AT100 (Thrive) produces crashes. The one time it didn't crash, the graphs and diagrams looked awful. 5 stars on a phone, 1 star on a tablet. I would pay for a HD version.

Would like to see some facts regarding why billionaires (Koch brothers, etc.) have a financial stake in denying climate change.

With this app I can give pinpoint accurate facts about Climate Science and have the references to research to back it up. I can't stand idiots who repeat total rubbish they have heard. Now you can find the scientific data that climate sceptics serially misrepresent and show them how the science has been intentionally used out of context.

Concise, easy to access source of usable info on climate change in an otherwise overwhelming sea of science and statistics!

This app is cynically designed to lead the gullible away from the many hundreds of scientifically peer reviewed papers that do not support anthropogenic global warming. For a balanced review of the scientific literature you need to go to the NIPCC website (not IPCC). It tells a different story. And all 1300 papers are referenced. If the science matters to you more than the politically motivated hype, then you need to steer clear of propaganda apps like this. You are only fooling yourselves.

This is a handy tool for countering deniers' arguments. The interface could be a little better - for example, the nav screens are fixed in portrait mode. There is an amazing amount of information presented.

This application has all of the arguments from the SkS website used by climate change contrarians. Furthermore, it has news feed from the SkS site whenever a new article or argument is posted. Some people complain that the app and SkS are biased, but that is because science itself is biased toward reality and the reality that the global climate is changing and humans are causing it. Good work Cook et al.
